Renowned German piano manufacturer C. Bechstein has launched a new line of pianos in the form of the Academy range.

Made at the company's long-standing German factory, the new range of upright and grand pianos promises exacting quality and a continuation of the heritage that has seen Bechstein remain a success amongst an ever-dwindling number of German piano manufacturers.

An evolution of former models, the Academy range will be primarily aimed at "families, music students, pianists and beginners", and will be put together using the latest computerised manufacturing technology.

The Academy range will soon be at Dolphin, with the Academy 116 weighing in with a retail price of £899.
