The 55-02 is equipped with our familiar MM/J pickup configuration and custom 3-band preamp used in the U.S.-made 55-94. The controls on the 55-02 are the same as on the 55-01 and the master volume pot can be pulled to bypass the active preamp. The 55-02 has a 3-way toggle for coil splitting.
