I've been wanting a volume pedal for ages, but they seem to start at £60, which I can't really justify for a volume pedal.

Along comes Behringer and there £20ish pedal. I thought, why not? It's cheap and it can't be that bad - I've got another pedal from them, and our lead singer uses a Behringer switch box.

The construction is quite solid - I needed to tighten the treadle itself when it arrived, but that's the sort of thing I expect when ordering from the internet.

With my cheap practise amp there was some hiss, but at the end of my FX chain and into my Fender Deville 1x12 amp, there's no problem. You can adjust the volume range which is pretty cool, and it can be used in stereo or as a modulation pedal.

I give it 8 because for this price it's great!

At this price its hard to justify spending another £50 more for a volume pedal manufactured by the higher price point brands. When i called Dolphin, i initially intended to purchase a volume pedal at £60 more. However I needed the product very quickly for a weekend gig and the product i wanted was not in stock. The salesman pointed me to this pedal and I'm pleased to say it has turned out to be a great little bargain. For gigs its got the reliability and robustness to cope and works superb with my POD XT setup as a pre volume control. No hiss,buzz or crackle just clean signal which to be honest is my main concern. The volume dynamic range can be calibrated to vitually any setup you need and once configured you just play and forget, no gizmos no flash just an honest workhorse. I really would struggle to make any sort of case for spending 3 times more on a volume pedal that essentially does the same. It aint rocket science its just a volume pedal after all and for that this little gem should satify all levels of guitarists musicians who are looking to save a few beans.
