A well made and fairly lightweight boom'fish pole. It is fairly chunky, which makes for a more rigid feel when fully extended, and collapses into a fairly small unit. The knurled locking rings are positive, and rubber o rings stop it closing with a clunk! You can route the cable externally, using the supplied velcro straps, or you can route the cable internally using built in cable slots. these are a bit of a tight fit with 6mm cable, but 4mm outside diametre cable slips through fine. As this isn't a really expensive boom, I was really pleased by the quality - easily matching products normally retailing for over £150.
