As the much anticipated answer to one of the top requests from Pro Tools® users, ultra-small Mbox® 2 Micro enables Pro Tools users to edit, sequence, and mix sessions created on Pro Tools|HD®, Pro Tools LE®, and Pro Tools M-Powered™ systems on the go, as well as compose music with virtual instruments and loops.

About the size of a typical USB flash drive, Mbox 2 Micro offers high-quality 24-bit / 48 kHz sound, a 1/8-inch stereo output for headphone or speaker monitoring (no audio inputs*), and a convenient volume wheel, providing you with the freedom of true editing, sequencing, and mixing mobility. Whether you’re looking to work on studio-created or live sound Pro Tools sessions on the go, or create loop-based or virtual instrument-driven music, Mbox 2 Micro lets you work wherever inspiration takes you.

Windows Vista

Windows Vista Now Supported with Pro Tools LE 7.4 & Pro Tools M-Powered 7.4
Digidesign strives to support a wide variety of host computers and operating systems with our Pro Tools® product line, and we’re excited to support Windows Vista (32-bit) Ultimate and Business* operating systems with Pro Tools LE® 7.4 and Pro Tools M-Powered™ 7.4 software. However, at this time Pro Tools HD® 7.4 software is not compatible with Windows Vista. Customers using Pro Tools HD 7.4 wishing to upgrade to Windows Vista should wait until support is officially announced.

Please note that at this time, Avid video peripherals such as Mojo SDI® are not supported with Pro Tools LE 7.4 on Windows Vista. Support for Avid video peripherals with Vista is expected in a future Pro Tools LE compatibility update.

*Windows Vista Home and Home Premium Editions not tested. Although Windows Vista Home and Home Premium Edition have not been tested or qualified by Digidesign, there are currently no known issues with Vista Home and Home Premium 32-bit operating systems and Pro Tools LE and M-Powered 7.4 compared to the officially qualified Windows Vista Business or Ultimate Edition operating systems.

Windows Vista 64-bit OS installation (any version) is not compatible with Pro Tools.

If you are purchasing a new Windows computer and need to use Pro Tools LE or M-Powered 7.3 or earlier, check to see if the manufacturer offers the option to configure with Windows XP Home or Windows XP Professional preinstalled.
