The result is a nylon string guitar sound with the familiar feel of a Taylor steel-string acoustic guitar. Onboard electronics and a selection of solid tonewoods enable you to instantly expand your tonal and aesthetic repertoire. This Grand Auditorium boasts increased volume, sustain, and bass frequencies while maintaining all the tonal subtlety and pristine treble response of the smaller-bodied NS32ce.
The power and projection of the Sitka spruce top paired with African mahogany is enhanced in this Grand Auditorium.
Our Grand Auditorium combines the width and depth of a Dreadnought with a narrower waist. Its sleek design yields a strong treble zing across the tonal spectrum and sharpens the definition of individual notes. The Grand Auditorium is a strong fingerpicking guitar that also adapts well to medium strumming.
This system features Fishman’s Acoustic Matrix transducer pickup and a compact, side-mounted pre-amp with a flip-top 9-volt battery compartment. Additional tone controls allow you to adjust bass, treble, and mids. Brilliance controls and a Notch filter add even more tone-shaping capabilities and feedback control.
The finish used to create this guitar's textured satin back and sides and lustrous gloss top was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultraviolet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes. Available in natural finish.
