The mahogany Jumbo that inspired Leo Kottke's return to 12-string guitar is big and bold, yet richly articulate.
Highs, lows, and mids resonate with shimmering clarity and robust volume on our mahogany/Sitka spruce 12-string Jumbo.
The Jumbo delivers the extra-deep resonance and volume that come with a larger sound chamber together with its own signature subtleties. Revoicing has sharpened its tonal difference from the Dreadnought. With a huge presence, the Jumbo is perfectly suited for aggressive strumming.
The finish used to create this guitar's lustrous gloss top, back, and sides was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultra violet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes. Available in natural finish or with optional Honey Sunburst top (with natural back and sides.)
