Yamaha has created a special bland of its unparalleled handcraftsmanship and innovative technology that brings the SG1000 to new heights. from 2005, the SG1000 has been in production on a dedicated line at Yamaha Music Craft - Yamaha's elite handcraft workshop that is responsible for producing Yamaha's top-of-the-line handcrafted acoustic guitars and custom instruments. These two instruments also benefit from Yamaha's latest technological advancements with the application of Initial Response Acceleration - a process originally developed for Yamaha's acoustic violins that accelerates that maturing process resulting in instruments that play and sound right out of the box as if they have been played for years.
