OK, it features the work of renowned engineer Mark Tanzer (NRBQ, Carly Simon, Patty Larkin, Jerry Marotta, Livingston Taylor, Lyle Mays and others) and his arsenal of top-notch audio gear gets the best, cleanest, punchiest recordings possible.

Taking full advantage of Blue Jays excellent wood, stone and glass recording rooms, with recorded natural small ambient and large ambient versions of a 15 piece Yamaha Maple Custom drumset.

Session Drum Implants

Using close microphone techniques at Wellspring Studios in Boston, this collection captures the most natural elements of a beautiful set of DW and Pearl Drumkits. Renowned studio engineer Coleman Rogers helped us sample this kit using his arsenal of great mics, pre-amps, and compressors. After 3 days and nights sampling every drum and every cymbal, using different sticks at different velocities, at different places on the drums, the result was no less than 20 DAT tapes of incredible sounding drum samples.
