although this product is very good within a studio environment, as it does not take up much space, you will find that it cant carry much of the weight that it claims to be able to load bear!! this is due to the small plate on the top of the stand. my suggestion if you want this product is to attach your monitors onto a piece of wood and then onto the metal plate to make it much more stable!! my recommendation is to spend a bit more money and get a set of Pro-L speaker stands
