All the instruments have a host of editing parameters including Attack and Release. You can edit and then save you own variations to the 384 user memory locations with either a subtle tweak to the unique "character" parameter or create strange alien variations with the Filter Frequency and Resonance parameters (great for those 70's Funky Wah effects). When you're composing why waste time loading and comparing samples? - you need access to high quality patches instantly before the inspiration is lost, and the Super Quartet's patch changes are virtually instant.
The built-in reverbs offer simulations of ambient effects for added realism and give you all the edit parameters you could expect from a high class outboard device, the chorus can be anything from a subtle shimmer to a radical jet take off style flange. The Super Quartet is compatible with Mac OS, Windows 2000 / XP Home and Professional / ME / 98 / 98SE and all versions are included in the same box so should you choose to change operating system or even hardware platform at any time you can still use your Super Quartet.
