Proving they are just as innovative as any other manufacturer (and maybe even a bit more), VOX has released the DA15, a compact, affordable little beauty that comes complete with all the bells and whistles. There are 11 distinctive sound styles available when you plug into the top panel. They include everything from crisp and clean to big and mean, and they're all available with the simple turn of a knob. VOX engineers carefully selected voicings that duplicate the most in-demand guitar sounds of all time, then added a full complement of onboard effects that range from simple reverb to complex multi-effects like Chorus + Delay. There's even a Tap Temp button that makes it easy to set the delay time or modulation speed. Use the amp by itself (it's got an 8-inch speaker built-in) or connect it directly to a mixer or recording setup via the speaker-emulated line output.
