The Takamine EG501S is an Orchestra Model (OM) shaped electro acoustic , with a strong lower midranges and versatile dynamics. With a smaller length, depth and waist as compared to a dreadnought, the EG501S is popular for acoustic and fingerstyle players. The EG501S features a solid spruce top with Bolivian rosewood back and sides.
The Takaminie TK4NT electronics featured on the EG501S provides a tunable notch filter, switchable midrange contour and on-board tuner.
