Some guitarists think just one guitar is not enough – that's why they buy different guitars, as each type has its own peculiar sound. However, sometimes just one guitar can indeed be enough! Modern “Tone modeling” technology enables a single guitar to produce many different sounds! 

Digital guitars can be plugged to an amp, just like any ordinary guitar, but they can also be plugged straight to a computer, via USB or other types of digital inputs, to be recorded with tone modeling software.
