Vinyl DJ Systems

Vinyl DJ Systems use the traditional turntables and a DJ mixer. Vinyl systems are a great way to get your student DJs started. Teaching the basics of beat catching and matching, synchronising tracks, cueing, listening and 'scratch style' tricks can easily be demonstrated by a skilled teacher using vinyl decks. Calculating the tempo of tracks and the necessary percentage range of adjustments for beat matching can present links with maths topics.

For a basic vinyl DJ system you will need two vinyl turntables with slipmats and styli, a DJ mixer, speakers and headphones. You will need some records as well of course!!!!
