Smaller, lighter and simpler. The guitars you'll find here are perfect for younger players, from the JHS Palma Junior, ideal for young children aged 4+, to Squier Strats, the perfect starting points for teens first getting into music.
Here's a quick guide to what you can find here:
Acoustic Guitars - the classical acoustic guitars are hollow, light instruments with nylon strings. They are easy to play and ideal as a first instrument for young children, in particular the smaller-sized models. Dreadnought acoustic guitars have steel strings, have a fuller sound and are recommended for kids in their teens - they are the models most commonly used in popular music .
Electric Guitars - considerably heavier than acoustic guitars, because they are solid-bodied. Recommended for older children and teens. However, 3/4-sized versions also exist, such as the Squier Mini, ideal for the young toddlers who want to make some noise!
Bass Guitars - Similar to Electric Guitars, except for the fact they only have 4 strings, which are thicker and produce a deeper sound. They are easier to play.
Please note: Electric Guitars and Bass Guitars require an amplifier to produce a sound. You can buy them separetely or get a starter pack or bundle that includes both the guitar and the amp.
