Gear at the Brit Awards 2014
The stars of the music industry gathered in London last night to celebrate the 34th edition of the Brit Awards. The annual award show celebrated established, upcoming and long serving musicians in the music industry and hosted live performances by Arctic Monkeys, Beyonce, Lorde and many more.
Brit Awards 2014: Arctic Monkeys
This was the third consecutive year of Brit wins for Arctic Monkeys meaning the band had won more awards than anyone else at this year's ceremony.
With the volume ramped up and the letters 'AM' lit up in 50ft flames, Alex Turner and Co proved why they deserved the title of Best British Group.
If you take a closer look, you can see that Alex Turner chose to perform with a stunning Gretsch G6128T-1962 Duo Jet.This 60's style vintage guitar features a zero-fret and double cutaway body design and is lighter than the single cut version which gives easier access to the higher frets.
Though the guitar sounds great when played clean, Alex likes to use it with as much gain possible and my does it work.

Brit Awards 2014: Ellie Goulding
Best British Female Solo Artist at the Brit Awards 2014 deservedly went to Ellie Goulding who performed two tracks, 'I need your love' and 'Burn'.
As we can see in the photo, I need your Love was performed acoustically on a beautiful white Gibson Jumbo guitar. This electro-acoustic guitar delivered a sweet tone and clarity that perfectly matched Goulding's delicate vocals.
Brit Awards 2014: Nile Rodgers
Nile Rodgers rocked up to the Brits 2014 in style, not only celebrating 20 years sober, but also managing to get in on the onstage action, performing live with Pharrell Williams.
The duo took the stage with a whole host of musicians to perform a medley of tracks which included 'Get Lucky', 'Good Times' and Pharrell's latest single 'Happy' and fans of Nile Rodgers won't be surprised to find it was a Fender Stratocaster that accompanied Rodgers onstage.
The relationship between Fender Guitars and Nile Rodgers is well established and after decades performing with a Stratocaster, Fender and Niles worked together to launch a limited edition custom Stratocaster. The result was the Fender limited edition Hitmaker Stratocaster and we can see Niles Rodgers using this at this year's Brits.
