New Avril Lavigne Signature Fender Squire Telecaster

After the huge success of the Punk-Pop princess’s checkboard signature Telecaster, Avril Lavigne and Fender have teamed up once again to produce another new model for 2012.

This new signature model features an all-black, more mature and subdued look than the Tele that came before. The striking new guitar features a distinctive 12th fret skull and crossbones inlay on a rosewood fretboard, with 22medium jumbo frets and a C-shaped maple neck with black signature headstock.

The basswood body and standard 6-saddle string-through-body bridge are  features that this model shares with the previous Signature Telecaster. Other features include a 3-ply scratchplate, (black - white - black) which gives the blacked-out design some appreciated depth. The knurled, black, flat top controls, the barrel style switch tip and die cast tuners make this guitar a lean, mean Signature Tele.

This new addition to Fender’s range of Signature models is simply a no-nonsense Punk guitar.
