Update: MASCHINE 1.7
Native Instruments have announced a free software update for their powerful MASCHINE performance controller. The new update, which will be available via download from September 1st offers increased plugin integration allowing users to easily search for and use presets from MASCHINE’s hardware browser while eliminating the need to use the mouse or keyboard. This will make for a much more intuitive and tactile experience allowing users to concentrate on writing or playing. MASCHINE will marry seamlessly with the new Komplete 8 and Komplete 8 Ultimate software to form a formidable production or live rig incorporating Native Instruments’ forward thinking NIS sound format.
MASCHINE is a powerful hardware controller and software interface that combines the full on hands on control of classic grooveboxes and samplers with modern digital editing, file storage and library functions. Since its release it has become a favourite with performance artists on the live circuit due to its sleek but rugged build quality and intuitive control over many of the sounds and instruments that fuel their studio based productions. Amongst the ever growing list of Musicians to have embraced MASCHINE, legendary artists Underworld, Carl Craig, Deadmau5, Coldplay and Turntablist world champion DJ Rafik have all been vocal in their support.
