Buddy passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at his home in Nashville, TN. He was 79.
Buddy Harman was one of the most prolific drummers in popular music. He can be heard on hit recordings such as Roger Miller's "King of the Road", Tammy Wynette's "Stand By Your Man", Johnny Cash's "Ring Of Fire", Roy Orbison's "Oh, Pretty Woman", The Everly Brothers' "Bye Bye Love", Elvis Presley's "Little Sister", Brenda Lee's "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree" and dozens of hits from Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Ray Price, Patsy Cline, Ringo Starr, Simon and Garfunkel and countless others.
