Jim Barr, bassist of Portishead, bought an Italia Torino bass for the live tour in support of Portishead’s new album, 3.  Barr joined the increasing number of top artists who choose Italia, such as Manic Street Preachers and Kaiser Chiefs.

Barr says of his Italia bass, “My Italia Torino bass has all the tone and character of a classic vintage bass, but with some very cool new touches to the hardware and electrics. And I’m totally in love with the sexy red sparkle finish.”

Italia guitars and basses are all UK designed by design legend Trev Wilkinson.
