Ableton will soon be including an updated version of their Ableton Live Digidesign Edition software with all Digidesign® Pro Tools® systems. Ableton is now offering a free update to Live Lite 4 Digidesign Edition at www.ableton.com/free-digidesign-update.

New Free Software Included with Every Digidesign Pro Tools System Every Digidesign Pro Tools system — from Mbox™ to Pro Tools|HD® Accel — includes a host of powerful music production applications and plug-ins from top developers to get your customers started creating right out of the box. This set of software tools, which we call the Music Production Enhancement Suite, includes Ableton Live Digidesign Edition, Propellerhead Software Reason Adapted, and IK Multimedia’s SampleTank SE, AmpliTube LE, and T-RackS EQ.

And now, these free tools just got even better: Ableton is now replacing Ableton Live Digidesign Edition with Live Lite 4 Digidesign Edition, featuring some of the latest enhancements included in Ableton Live 4 software. Compared to the previously bundled Ableton Live Digidesign Edition, Live Lite 4 Digidesign Edition features new MIDI functionality, more precise control of volume, pitch and timing for audio, and offers a variety of audio and MIDI effects.

If you have already purchased a Digidesign Pro Tools system, and have registered the previous version of Ableton Live Digidesign Edition included with your system, Ableton is offering a free software update to the new software versions for a limited time.
