The Ludwig Accent CS Combo kit is an excellent kit which is to an outstanding standard for such a low price kit, it is brilliant for beginners thinking of starting a band and if you want to do small gigs the \'power\' edition has enough sound to make its self heard over an enthusiastic band. The kit is at an outstanding price at only 419 and will be the cheapest you find a kit of such good quality, the whole look of the kit gives the impression it must be an expensive kit when in fact is only a bargain. The hardware of the kit is one of its weaker points, it is the light hardware so looses out on a slight bit of stability. to compensate this they are braced this keeps weight down but helps give more stability,strenght and of course the all important durability. The cymbals are excellent quality for a beginner or budget kit and produce a bright noise that is excellent for playing with a band and of course on your own. The finish of the kit is quite fantastic the veneer shells with the silver look very professional. It is a bright colour and looks excellent. And to summerise this is an excelent kit for the money that it\'s going for, and will look and play the part of a more expensive kit. Of course with ludwig on the front you have insured quality. 9/10 Zach Burns

Appears to be of high quality with decent chrome plating too. Robust looking design for mounted toms and floor toms for larger type rods of 1/2\" diameter. However, I only bought one because my original one broke! One of the heads on the two mounting screws that hold it to the vibro band had sheered off. As it was only months old, I can only assume (& hope) it was a faulty screw that just couldn\'t cope with the weight of a 14\"x10\" tom? No similar faults with the new one supplied by Dolphin Music, thankfully.
