Bought for me as a Christmas gift. First impressions were good, on closer inspection not so good. Poor paint work, overspray in the sound hole, fingerboard poorly finished with black paint, binding cracking, machineheads are very poor. Other points are the materials, the actual body must be made from the thinest wood ever! Lifted it and it hardly touched my Sg and it cracked! CRAZY! finally neck to think and badly contructed. So, for 50 quid people would say its ok, but for a little bit more you can buy a half decent guitar! Also something else that bothers me is \"suitable for beginners\",,,nonsense! Beginners need the best to get them started! Overall, its your choice! If your on a budget, go for it. But if you can wait I urge you to do so, because I guarantee you will junk this for something else within 6 months! In nearly 20 years its the worst I\'ve ever seen or player. Rubbish. Goodluck.

this is by far the worse guitar i have ever owned, and was stupid to buy it, the guitar has a plywood fret board which is complete rubbish cheap parts and the worst machine heads imaginable i would pay to have someone to take this guitar from me, on top of this dolphin music very rudely responded to me when i asked to send it back, STEER CLEAR FROM THIS GUITAR AND SITE

Delivery was excellent (as always). It\'s what you expect for the price. Using it just to hammer out and learn chords without disturbing the neighbours. Tuned easily and has held the tune so far. Does the job as I want. Build looks fine - no blemishes or marks. Ideal starter acoustic. No frills with it - you need to buy a gig bag.

Some detailed parts missed a bit of paint . Thats the only down side, I\'m not a very good guitar player but I tuned this to DADF#AD and wow, I thought I was buddy holy. Great price and The machine heads don\'t drift much.It great for just picking up and laying the blues. I found it hard to put down once I started playing it. I picked red because it looked different and it highlights the strings better.

I bought this for a friend who is keen to learn so didn\'t want to pay too much for a beginners guitar (Got it for 40). Was quite impressed with it. The finish was nice apart from a small blemish which was hardly noticeable. The build quality isn\'t the best but perfectly acceptable for a beginners guitar. I would change the strings to bronze as they sound a little bit \'tinny\' but once again for a beginner this wouldn\'t really be an issue. When compared to my Yamaha FG730S you can see the difference in quality (40 vs 300) but you should obviously expect that from a 40 guitar. For a beginner I would recommend this guitar, its perfect to get you going and to buy a full size guitar for 40 is a bargain!

Its a really great guitar and extremely comfortable. u get a designer brand guitar for a reasonable price its unbelievable. But i\'d definately recommend this to anyone that is commited enough and worth this guitar

Nice Cheap guitar. if all you can afford is 35, then buy this, you wont go wrong. but if you can afford something more expensive, do it.

This being my first guitar, I was after an acoustic guitar that is easy to play. I don\'t want to deal with plugging in amps just yet. This guitar is excellent for what I want and sounds great with plenty of volume. If your a beginner like me and looking to buy then you cant go wrong with this. The red one looks pretty nice to.

well what can i say, i not played the guit properly this "axe"!!!!! feely groovy easy to play nice low action, basically after messin with this i recorded a tune (and earned $1million--not true but am optomistic) seriusly nice guitar lads in shop were great v helpfull especially me being a beginner,(cool discounts aswell)if u a beginner or just need a nice round clear soundin for practise then in my non expert opinion i reckon u get this(ps red looks cool)

Having not played a guitar in a few years, I was looking for a guitar that was resonable in price, but not that resonable that it had no quality. A friend put me on to Dolphin Music and I bought a Falcon Sunburst, (or rather my parents bought it for me!!). There was a slight delay over delivery due to out of stock purchases, but dolphin music kept me fully informed. The day arrived and my new guitar was deliverered. Like a child on christmas morning I unwrapped it as quickly as I could. Tuning the guitar was easy, (alas 1st E snapped, but was quickly replaced with a new string). I was amazed at the tone of the guitar and how easy it was to use. I was expecting some difficulty with it, however all of my knowledge came flooding back and I was soon enjoying jamming sessions at home. This guitar is IDEAL for first time users and for anyone returning to play the guitar. I would rate it 10 out of 10.

I was very pleased with this product. It is my first guitar so I can't really compare it to others. The first thing that I thought about was the price, being left handed meant that I was expecting to have to pay a lot more, but it is the same amount as the right handed version. The package came promptly and was packaged well and I was very pleased with the quality of it. It's a good guitar for someone who has never picked up a guitar before, someone who is relatively new to it or someone on a low budget. This guitar no doubt will do me well for a year or two while I learn and when I become more accustomed to playing guitar and advance further, I will probably buy a better one. The only thing that I found with this guitar, which will be inevitable with a cheaper, factory made guitar is that the saddle was slightly higher than I wanted it, this didn't stop me from playing but meant that your fingers had to work harder on the fretboard. This can be corrected with relative ease by simply removing the strings, slipping the saddle out from the bridge and removing some material from the bottom of the saddle. You have got to be careful not to take too much off and because it is a left handed guitar it will be hard to find a replacement compensated saddle. Apart from this, a great buy!
