I recently purchased this guitar from dolphin after much deliberation. I\'d just parted with my Les Paul standard due to the financial strain of a law degree. I\'d been finding myself with the distortion well and truly off more and more, playing anything from Cat Stevens to classical pieces like Albeniz\'s Granada to clean/acoustic pieces by rock greats like King Crimson and Led Zeppelin. I thought it was time to consider the practical and cheaper option of a classical guitar. Whenever youre considering purchasing a guitar you havent played from the internet youre taking a gamble. When you come down the pricing ladder to guitars under 60, that gamble becomes one with much greater odds stacked against you. The quality of guitars in this price ranges varies wildly. However, Id read a few brief reviews elsewhere of this guitar and it seemed the most attractive prospect so I decided to gamble on one of these, and I must say I am incredibly impressed, not least because Dolphin\'s delivery speed was second to none. Firstly, this guitar is extremely playable. This guitar is targeted at learners, so if you are taking your first steps as a guitar player this is very important. The action is quite low, and the neck is comfortable to hold. Tone wise, the guitar has a very warm, deep low end, with surprisingly bright highs. It has a good amount of sustain, and apart from not being the best choice for pure country twang, its versatile in terms of musical styles. People overhearing have commented on how good chords sound on it. Aesthetically, the guitar looks nice. It wont win any awards, but it certainly looks more expensive than it is. Its lacquered reasonably thickly and has some nice little touches, like the decorated metal machine head attachments. Overall this is an incredible bargain for any guitar player and an absolute 10 out of 10 for a beginner. Highly recommended for any guitar player who wants a great sounding, decent classical guitar on a budget, too!

I received a Jose FERRER El Primo guitar to learn on last year. I\'ve been impressed by the performance and tone during my learning phase and am now reading music and playing full length though shortish) classical pieces successfully. Excellent value.
