All these are of course just obsessive details, but I believe that they add to the overall impression in a playback. Nonetheless, I was absolutely thrilled to use Notion and I fell in love with it, and with the wonderful prospect of using a single, musical, intuitive piece of software using just standard notation to play my music and not a sampler, a sequencer, a library and a notation tool. I truly believe that Notion has great future ahead and that, although it might be a while before I throw out my Gigastudio and all the rest out the window, I am a 100% sure that Notion has the concept and the promise to change our old ways and give us only one thing to worry about - writing music! Thank you and everyone from your company for creating such great product.
Overall, I have to tell you that this program is what I have been dreaming of for years. I am a university trained clarinetist and composer and I like to work in notation. I have been using a combination of Sibelius, Gigastudio, various sample libraries, including Vienna, and GPO. This method was unnecessarily complicated? I'd much rather just write music. I love the way the LSO sounds in combination with Abbey Road Studios. Anyone who thinks Notion doesn't sound good is probably orchestrating incorrectly. I'd also like to say that the support I have received since buying Notion has been outstanding! Keep up the great work and thanks again.
