Very recently purchased the above guitar whichvery quickly 'developed' string buz. Wastold by shop (huddersfield) to put paper uder string on nut .Took instrument back to shop today -was told eventually it needed 'setting up' etc ,but they could not do it and would cost too much to have a 'proffessional' set it up .So ,the instrument is to be returned to Washburn and replaced by a new one .I put THOMASTIK STRINGS on to try to eliminate buz , but no joy .How will i know the replacement has been set up correctly and i can use the THOMASTIK 13-53 jAZZ STRINGS ON IT ?????In all my 33years of instrumental teaching ,this is the only guitar retailer that has not the facilities or staff able to set a guitar up properly . It's a bit like buying a new car and and replacing it with anew one when allit wants is aspark plug . Asfar as i gather it will be about 10-14 days before the replacement arrives and no one will be able to ensure it's ok with the strings i use . I will never never use DOLPHIN again . What i want is my money back and to see the last of the incompetant bunch !!!!!!!! They are BRAINLESS !!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this guitar new about four years ago and paid 1995 which now seems to be a good investment as current prices are aboe that - if you can find one.At the moment production at the RIC factory has been suspended so unless you findone in stock you will be waiting years for one.The guitar itself looks sensational - much better than in it's photographs.It plays as easily as an electric and has the narrowest neck of any 12 string.It sounds pure Rickenbacker.You just have to get one to appreciate it.It may be a lot of money but compared to other quality guitars it is a bargain.Excellent.
