It's well thought out and ideal for a small mic/keyboard PC based studio, and the routing works perfectly - it has all the buttons, inputs and outputs you need. The phantom powered mic input seems well matched to my SE Electronics mic. The sound is pretty good too - clean and full, with ample headphone power. Good enough for pro results I think - don't let 'the critics' tell you otherwise. Cracking!

I second what Christian, the other reviewer, said. These monitors are cheap but sound expensive! They have a very neutral response graph and will not colour your sound, perfect for critical listening and as reference monitors. The bass response is pretty decent as well consider the driver size. I have used all three input connections including a line out straight from my laptop to the phono inputs and they are virtually silent when not in use (as John Cage says 'There is no such thing as silence') I have never turned the volume up past half way on the speaker amp and even at that volume they are too loud, so plenty of scope there. The off axis resonance is noticeable but once you are in the 'sweet spot' these monitors have a very clear and informative sound. Its a shame they are no longer available as I would buy three more for a surround setup.... oh well ebay here I come. Peace, George

The best purchase I have ever made! These speakers have a crystal clear sound and great range. The quality of my recordings have got better and better since I bought these speakers. The jack input and xlr in one is a great idea although you can use phono connections if you prefer. Overall these speakers are excellent value for money!
