Hi there I have recently bought the alesis io14 to complement my computer recording studio, the outputs on this piece of equipment require an S/PDif cable, so I bought the techlinc pro cable from Dolphin in Gateshead. It is great for the job, it's quiet and transfers the signal perfectly to my amp. These cables are a good priced option that I would recommend

I am used to using expensive cables with my hifi, and had been using some in my studio set-up, but I needed to purchase much longer interconnects, which would have been very costly. The Techlink Professional turned out to be just what I required. I didn\'t notice any loss in quality, and my studio has a greater flexibility with these cables. If a longer version of this cable were available I would not hesitate purchasing it. From a price point of view they are exceptionally good value. The cable I had been using was 1 metre interconnect from Kimber which cost at least 60. To get 3 metres for only 19.99, and be happy with the results is a clear advantage. The world of cables can be such a minefield, and some will only buy cable if it has a high price attached, but in the real world, one cannot always justify the high cost. One can always find better cables, but the question is: can you justify the price? With Techlink you don\'t need to justify the price, only the decision to consider not buying them.
