Great value for money..good clear sound. Comes with Shockmount which is great and feels heavy, standard large windscreen, and the case is good looking too. The Mic itself feels strong like if you dropped it, it would still survive. Overall its all you need for recording vocals. Better microphones out there but much more expensive and most of them dont even come with a shockmount.
This mic is very good value for money and u wont be dissapointed.
Great quality great price
I\'ve had one of these for a while now, and have have to say that for the money it\'s practically unbeatable. Granted, it doesn\'t have a huge range of ports and sockets (RCA in/out, optical out and line out) but it does one job and does it very well. In fact, my only niggle is that the optical out port didn\'t have a cover - nothing a bit of gaffer tape didn\'t fix though.

Works fine with Windows, although you\'d be better off downloading ASIO4ALL rather than using the Behringer drivers, and it works perfectly with Linux as well
I didn\'t really expect much at the price these units come in at but I was pleasantly surprised. They actually perform pretty well for vocals with a good pickup pattern, and with a tweak or two on the EQ pretty much match my Shures. They would also make a great mic for speaker cabs. I suspect I\'ll be buying some more.
This device is reasonable for the price. No major problems, low latency providing, and here\'s the caveat, your using Windows XP or other 32 bit OS (don\'t know how it works with Mac or Linux).
If you happen to be using XP x64 or other windows 64 bit, then forget it, buy something else ! Behringer, for reasons known only to themselves DO NOT DO 64 BIT Drivers !!! I have tried to find out, but to no avail. You have been warned.
Working in the studio the Behringer PX3000 patch bay comes in useful and for a small price.

This piece of hardware keeps my wires in a good clean untangled condition making sure I can get a mix done in a well organized environment so i can focus on my work.

It hasn\'t got a expensive look neither has it got an expensive price tag but to be honest you don\'t need it to look good if you want a job to be done well.

		Very cheap, not very useable.

This pedal was my third attempt at a compressor for my bass - after a Digitech and EHX. This is the best, but not great.

Plugged into a Squier P Bass and Fender Rumble 100 15\" amp, this pedal simply removes the volume, which isn\'t what i was hoping for. It has no use what-so-ever with a passive bass.

It may be ok with a guitar, I\'ve not tried that yet.

Not bad for the money, but wish i\'d spent more on a better pedal. Gonna save for an Aphex one.
Purchased and used recently for small gig. Solid unit, performed well and would recommend.

Couple of gripes: as mentioned in a review below power indicator is bright blue and totally blinding in a low lit environment - i stuck some tape over mine, so easily solved but annoying.

Also no mute buttons for individual channels - when i wanted to mute had to cut the volume and re-find levels again when bringing back in.

Would still recommend as with the built in FXs it\'s great value for money.
As a young musician, I am on a limited budget...and am used to buying equipment that sounds cheap. However, this condenser microphone sounds much better than a mic of this price has any right to; coupled with the Behringer Tube Ultragain MIC100 preamp, the sound is warm and rich, and silky smooth. It may not be as high quality as an AKG, but were you expecting that for under 30? And anyway, the difference is so slight that you may as well save your money and buy this beauty. One slight niggle is that the soldering on my first one was slightly flimsy, but the fact I\'m buying another one shows my opinion on this great microphone
I have been using this pedal for a month or so now, and really I can\'t fault it. If you\'re used to just an average amp\'s spring reverb with a single control, this will feel like complete luxury. The range of 11 reverb types, combined with great sound quality and flexibility to fine tune, allows you to dial in the exact reverb you\'re after. Placed at the end of an effects chain it adds the perfect \"finish\".

Downsides? It\'s really nit-picking at this price, but if you\'re inclined to wear hob-nailed boots while playing you may want a metal casing (I\'m not worried though), and the mode control is a little fiddley to use - you would find it hard to change sounds mid-way through a song. But I\'m old enough to remember when a decent digital reverb cost more than ten times as much and did a lot less. This is incredible value for money, if I lost it I would buy another without hesitation.
I really enjoy using this pedal. My amp/multi-fx unit both had built-in reverbs to a certain extent, but it wasn\'t until I bought this box that I realised how much I enjoy playing with long, deep, warm reverbs. Once you get a unit like this that can do a good, long reverb (like this one) then you can create all sorts of cool sounds, from quick slapback delays to a full on wall-of-noise. If you\'re looking to emulate a certain Irish rock guitar god, this pedal is probably the cheapest way to do it. Alternatively, use it in-line with a mixer/mic to add some ambience to your vocal lines.

For the price, you can\'t go wrong. 40 is nothing when you look at how many features the pedal has. Some people would probably look down on Behringer, but in a dimly-lit dive bar, who\'s gonna know?! You could easily pay double this price for a Boss equivalent which would likely have less paramaters to tweak. Stop reading this - click buy.
With my original plan being to buy a cheaply priced preamp until I could afford to spend more money, I was very satisfied with the Behringer Ultragain MIC200 indeed, and now have dropped plans of buying a more expensive one. Very, very good value for money. Having used Rode NT-1A\'s on various setups for quite a few years, I\'m fairly used to how one should sound through a high-end mixing console. Using my own Rode NT-1A on this preamp made me switch opinion from \"making do for now \'til I can fork out more\", to being very happy with this piece of kit. :) I notice there are a couple of rather negative reviews, saying that it makes noise. Perhaps you have an unbalanced connection on the input and/or output. Mine\'s totally balanced and is practically silent. You guys who are saying there\'s noise, I\'d research balanced/unbalanced connections if I was you, if you don\'t already know it that is. If you do have an unbalanced connection, balanced makes all the difference. :)
I got these monsters about 3 weeks ago and I am very happy with them. I should prefix this with the fact that I am fairly new to music prodction, although I am a seasoned bass guitar player and drummer.

The initial trepidation about having them break 35 minutes after switching them on (being Behringers) proved unfounded they have worked perfectly so far.

The built quality is robust however the lack of attention to detail is obvious when compared to higher end monitors (there was a small amount of glue left on the rubber surrounding the woofer on one of the monitors).

The sound quality is solid, reasonably flat and somewhat uncoloured compared to the NEar08s. The Fostex PM05s sounded better but the neccesity to get the sub with them (for my style of music anyway) put them out of my price range.

A few good listening sessions helped identify the surprisingly few peaks in the response. the crossover frequency was audibly flat. The provided response curves were too smoothed to be of any real use.

The low end is clear, solid and very detailed for monitors of this price, I found I could identify problem areas easily in fairly busy and low basslines. When cranked up, boy do they move air! At high volumes there appeared to be no whistling coming out of the ports.

The high mids were a little disappointing, there was a noticeable lack of detail, and I am still finding myself turning to my trusty Sennheiser cans when making delicate reverb settings.

The top end is quite good and airy. The tweeters seemed quite peircing at first though not as painful as the Tapco S8\'s. I was pleasantly surprised on how detailed the top was, really revealing the depth and shimmer in cymbals.

The sweet spot is not nearly as large as I had hoped. I have mine set up about 2 1/2 feet away from my head and the sweet spot seems to be only a few inches wide. but maybe that is asking too much.

The B3031a\'s really seem to come into their own when driven hard. The clarity at higher levels is great and really provide an immersive experience when compared with for instance the Alesis M1 MK2\'s which falter at really high SPLs.

The noise floor seems quite high but hey they cost under 300 and the hiss is only really noticeable when no sound is being played and ones ears are directly in front of the tweeters.

Overall for the money they are superb. They have a broad and flat frequency response and reasonable detail whilst not colouring the sound too much. You have the ability to tune them to your room which is a godsend for bedroom producers and is also what makes them fun as well for just blasting it. they even have a magical extra 6db of volume hidden at the back for when you really need to get it going!

As a dub step producer, the 8 3/4 Kevlar woofer provides more punch than anything in the price bracket and the ribbon tweeters, although not perfect and in need of some refinement still punch well above their weight. Compared to the B2031a monitors, Behringer have really done their homework and produced a set of monitors that are both broader in scope and richer in detail than the old TRUTHS. The difference is especially noticeable right at the bottom, where the difference in clarity is like day and night. The ribbon tweeters are also pretty cool even though I cant hear above about 18000Hz.

If I was producing acoustic or classical music I would probably probably consider other monitors with more detail up top, but for dance music they are a perfect choice for a first pair of studio monitors as as per usual with Behringer, as long as it works, you always get that bit more than what you paid for.

I am very happy with these and will be annoying the neighbours with them for many years to come. Highly recommended for a first or secondary set of monitors.
A nice sounding amp but very very quiet at full (carefully EQ\'d) volume! I got one and sent it back for this problem, Behringer sent me several, but all were very very quiet at full volume.
The mike input does have (unswitchable) phantom, even though its not in the spec. OK for very small parties or bedroom, but \"lined out\" to a 2-3 K power amp will do a stadium and sound good.
Firstly, the PA arrived the day following the order, as expected.
Brilliant service!

Secondly, I HAVE to award the EPA900 9 points because, apart from a single (and probably very subjective!)\"negative\", it truly IS an incredible piece of kit.

I\'ve been a professional player for well over 25 years and I genuinely believe I\'ve pretty much seen it all when it comes to amp set-ups of all shapes and sizes, but this powerhouse of a PA has simply blown me away.

Quite how Behringer have got so much brute power into such a tiny footprint is beyond me...but it\'s not \"rough\" or \"messy\" power! The sound, at all levels, is so pure that, if you closed your eyes, it would easily kid you into thinking you were listening to reference monitors!! It really IS that good!

The effects are typically Behringer, but seem a heck of a lot cleaner ( particularly the reverbs ) than my long-in-the-tooth rackmount Behringer.

The connectivity is beyond criticism, and, as usual, they seem to have anticipated every little criticism concerning what might have been omitted, and made sure that nothing IS omitted.

This, by definition, has had to be a very superficial critique, and I could forgive you if I come across as a Behringer fanatic!! :-)
Trust me though guys, if you\'re looking for POWER along with PORTABILITY, and you\'ve got a VERY limited budget( a tough combination to GENUINELY find prior to this ) then you simply won\'t regret for a moment purchasing this miraculous piece of kit!.....

....and that ( minor ) negative?
Well....it DOES seem to be more-than a little heavier than I expected!...

...but that\'s probably just me and my aging bones!! :-)
This box is good! For all intents and purposes it\'s Behringer\'s version of a MXR DynaComp for a lot less !

Positives:

Construction. Metal housing, should take a beating.

Sound. It\'s like a MXR Dynacomp. Adds a little top and reduces bottom at higher compression ratios giving a nice jangle to clean tones and a subtle top boost for soloing. I leave this switched on for all my clean tones.

True bypass. Sure, it\' not a mechanical true bypass switch (more like a Boss momentary feel) but that also means you lose the dreaded \"clunk\". This ain\'t a tone sucker!

Negatives:

Horrible chassis mounted pots/knobs. The pots work well but the knobs are awful and far too large (trying too hard to copy MXR?). I chopped mine down with a hacksaw which means I can\'t accidentally catch them with my foot.

DC adaptor placement. On the right had side next to the input jack!?

Battery replacement. Four screws to undo.

LED indicator. TOO BRIGHT!

Overall the negatives are only minor niggles that can be worked around. Also I haven\'t noticed the \"bad solder\" problems some other forums and reviews report.
The sound and construction of this unit more than make up for any issues and you get huge bang for buck here. If it were stolen I would replace it immediately.

Get one of these for your pedalboard now!
after spending the last few months searching for some new nearfield monitors. i have listened to almost all monitors in this price bracket. I would consider these to be amongst the best and definatley the most powerful. altough at top volume there a bit spluttery, you wouldn\'t ever need them that loud anyway!

considering behringers track record for building cheap rubbish. i think they have done themselves proud for the value for money these speakers offer. the tapco s8 i would say is the only speaker in its price range that i have found to be as good and well built.

these speakers are very heavy so take into consideration if using wall mounts!

the ribbon tweeters i honestly cant tell the difference. my ears are not that finely tuned, although the top end is clear and crisp. the bass is solid and chunky no need for a sub!

I use these monitors for home dj\'ing and recording the occasional mix. i would highly reccomend these speakers to any1 for under 300 you cant complain!
I actually found this item cheaper somewhere else, but Dolphin Music price matched it for me, and the sales rep on the phone was very helpful, and ordered it on the Thursday, and received on the Friday earlier morning.

The Microphone it\'s self, has a great case to carry to other locations if you so shall be doing it, the shockmount is amazing, the downside on this is that the windshield that came with the B1 Microphone, had been squashed, and is now a bit deformed, but they are cheap enought to buy somewhere else.

The microphone it\'s self, is a great a cheap buy, great sound quality, and you have the + & - of the DB\'s which is a good feature.

You need to have Phantom power to operate this microphone, so make sure you\'ve already got a desk to run it, and you will need a XLR Lead.

OVERALL AMAZING BUY.. MAY GET ANOTHER ONE!!
I have had this amp for a few months now. Although I have not gigged with it yet we do practice quite loud. I am playing a Yamaha M08 and Korg M1 and both keyboards sound fantastic through this amp. The string and synth sounds come across very well and you can really crank the volume up. I do find with piano sounds and fender rhodes sounds the amp has a tendancy to crackle ever so slightly but in general is good. I previously owner a pair of studio quality powered monitors and a small mixer ... although I miss a little the stereo quality this amp certainly come very close especially when you take into consideration the price. I may well purchase another to get that true stereo sound. Overall a great amp and well worth the cash.
The Behringer Ultralink Pro MX882 can run in one of three modes:

6 into 2 mixer
2 into 6 splitter
6 independent line amps

I\'m using the third option for gain makeup on my AV receiver. The built-in DAB receiver is ridiculously loud whilst the line inputs are pretty insensitive, so I just need to raise levels.

The MX882 offers incredible value for money; 6 Line amps/attenuators for 12.50 each - it would cost me several times as much to build them.

All inputs and outputs are balanced, but are fully stable when fed an unbalanced signal by earthing the cold leg. There seems to be plenty of headroom, and even when running it hard I couldn\'t get it to clip. No trace of noise or hum either.

I\'ve given the Behringer 9/10 because I don\'t like the fact it has just one pair of inputs on nasty 1/4\" jacks, whilst all the others are XLRs.

But it does exactly what it says on the box. What more could you want for 75 ?
Thanks guys I recieved this today. Works great on an Intel Core 2 Mac Mini running OS X 10.5.7. Worked out of the box - just plugged it in and was good to go. Works great in GarageBand and Logic. I was slightly concerned when I went to Audio/MIDI setup - for some reason I wasn\'t able to adjust the volume properties for the interface. But as mentioned it works great in Logic and GarageBand. Behringer do great products - especially for people like me who have no money but want some decent studio gear. Thanks!
Having used a Eurorack MX802a for a few years I purchased this item for use as a PA mixer. However I found that the sound quality was clearer and the background noise reduced to minimal compared with the older unit and have switched them round so that the 1202FX is now controlling my home studio amplification. The onboard effects processor is far more versatile than the outboard reverb I had been using and the slider main mix volume control is more convenient than the round pot on the MX802a. This unit is well constructed and laid out and is excellent value for money. The only critism I can find is the lack of a power switch. As my main poer amp is a Quad 405 which also lacks a power switch I have to seperate the power plugs so that I can switch them on and off individually otherwise switching off produces a very loud crack. I can thoroughly recommend this unit for home musicians and recording engineers.
Great for the price but don\'t be under any illusions, these speakers are definitely in the budget category. They can get muddy at high volumes and I sometimes feel that they\'re missing some mids but at 75 quid they\'re the best of a cheap bunch.

Big plus is the amount of inputs, especially optical in.

First of all I was pleased the amp did not get hot or overheat, as I have never used a convector cooled amp before, like many people I expect, I am use to a fan chugging round to cool them.To have no fan noise was good.Clean sound and good preformance all round(and a good price)I used it for disco work and I must put the amp in a rack soon as the air holes on the top of the amp most probably will get beer splashes in if I don\'t.Nice compact size for a 500w amp.If Behringer would have put a link input jack socket next to the main one(for slaving up)I would have given 10/10
First off it is important to remember that this mixer is only 150 and so far as I have found any mixer that will do similar things is at least 100 more expensive. Also to the credit to DolphinMusic this mixer was not overblown and said to be the most amazing thing you could possibly buy. It was on lots of other sites.
So.... The controls on the mixer are usable, and there is plenty of scope for adapting it to your style of mixing.
The effects are fairly impressive, however the control system leaves a bit to be desired and the adjust nodule seems rather flimsy.
The BPM counters.... this is where this product really falls down because, unless I\'ve got a dodgy one, they really dont work. It counts most house beats at 158 or thereabouts. It does allow you to put the beat in your self by pushing a button in time but even then it cant figure out a correct BPM.
Good mixer in general, just a few features that haven\'t been properly thought through.
this pedal is only worth 2 out of 10 at best. it absolutely demolishes batteries. i put a duracell ultra battery in, and it was flat within a total of 4 hours. had to buy a mains adaptor. its ok in use, a bit of a let down in some ways. i cant afford a better make so im stuck with this one. my advice is to save up for the boss pedal, had one years ago and it was brill. this one is plastic, not very good. add another tenner onto the price for a mains adaptor. never again.
I\'m a bassist and have recently decided to start collecting pedals, i\'ve bought a super-octaver, bass synth and bass OD (all behringer) all of which have been great
BUT the hell babe wah...
despite it\'s claims at being bass-friendly it is not THAT versatile, i don\'t knwow i believed the write-up but it doesn;t work for bass, might as well turn up the mid and hit the strings kinda-percussively to get a \'wap\' cos that\'s all the hb01 does

HOWEVER
as has been mentioned, prety solid for guitar.
not the best wah i\'ve used by a long way but for 32, definitely the best value for money.
good buddha wah sound on clean and slightly cry-baby-like on distortion.

so, not bad...but don\'t buy for bass! (unless you like it REALLY subtle)
I used this amp in my local store, it was the closest thing to the BXL1800A that i own(i already bought that one out their shop), i used it to try out an Ibanez GSR200, which is a alright bass for starters, this amp though made it sound much better, the Laney RB3 in store made it sound poor, I personally bought a too powerful amp and should of got this one.

This amp overall will deliver alot but would be a little on the weak side for 1000 people sized gigs, which is where i would recomend the BXL1800A.
The options on this amp are very useful, like the EQ bands and cd-in. Ultrabass option is alright but you are probably better off rarely using it, if at all.

If you want a value for money decent amp, buy this, if you want to spend more on a less powerful but more versitile amp then I recommend that... it all depends on your budget.

Try this out in a shop before buying if you are not sure what to do.
i think i should outline this straight away, if you haven\'t heard a compressed sound before and don\'t know how to use one then you really need to do seem research into this (regardless of what your going to buy) before you buy the pedal. Though this could be your reason for buying the pedal as at such a low price its worth it just to get to know the sound.
the pedal itself is brilliant and is perfect for producing anything from a basic slap sound to those rage style tones (bullet in the head especially :)
though i did find on my pedal the controls where very very loose and would change completely when transported at all, But at such a low price i really have no complaints, if you do get this look at the manual\'s on the boss website for sample settings (lmb-3)
If you want a perfect example of budget value-for-money, then the UBB1002 is it. I bought mine as a \"cheap and cheerful\" multi-purpose mixer for small live conference work and home mixing of multiple stereo instrument and sound sources (plus a mike or two). For my purposes the UBB1002 was the only mixer on the market with the versatility to perform both these tasks well, as it has three channels which overlap as mic or stereo line. Therefore, I can use it live with 5 mics and two stereo feeds (plus two Aux mixes for foldback and effects), or home with 5 stereo feeds and two mics - for the price it\'s an awful lot of mixer!
The drawbacks are the sound quality. The noise floor is fairly high (noise is clearly audible with all sliders at 0db) and the clipping ceiling is very low on the channels (just 6db above the peak light coming on) so you have to run the mixer well below the peak light point to prevent clipping on transients. So, I wouldn\'t use it for high quality studio work, but again for the price there\'s nothing to touch it on the market!
First off this rugged little stomp box looks cool right out of the box.Secondly what 70\'s rocker can resist the name Vintage distortion? This box took me back to a time when my brother and I rocked out to the likes of Grand Funk Railroad,Cream and Hendrix. This is not an easy box to immediately dial in the exact sound you\'re looking for,but is well worth the tinkering and tedium when you finally hit it. It loves a good strong signal going through it so make sure you don\'t put anything in front of it that will cut it down. It\'s hard to beat the price on this baby, so shell out the cash, hook it up,crank it up and get ready to blow the doors off the neighbors house just like I did back in 1976.
i\'ve had this pedal for about 3 months now and i\'m still discovering new sounds, i\'m sure behringer have given it a similar description but you can get subtle phaser-sounding shifts that just add something interesting to your sound or you can go the other way and get a throaty, talkboxy, envelope-filtery kinda thing going on or wet fish oscillation even a kind of thick, low, growling, spacey distortion on one of the sawtooths...mode 2 if i remember right
basically you got 11 different modes all of which have huge potential for sound sculpting so it\'s damn versatile.
i use it on stage through a 100 watt fender and it handles itself fine... made of plastic but seemingly unbreakable
awesome basically. i definitely reccomend it to every bassist

only slight downsides;
..circuit bends on high notes (sounds cool though)
..i can\'t work out the battery thing, apparently it\'s easy but i can\'t seem to do it (i use 9v dc anyway)
I bought this DI box, because I play a V-Drum kit, and it\'s a total nightmare turning up at a gig and asking them for 8 DI boxes! This thing was just the thing I needed and best of all, it takes up hardly any rack space being only 1U.

This box provides an amazing clean signal for the sound guy to do whatever it is they do!

I\'ve seen much more expensive DI boxes - perhaps if you\'re working in a studio, they may have their merits, but in a touring situation, the Behringer does the business at a fraction of the cost.

		Okay - you are reading this because;

Either Option A)
You read \'studio\' and professional\' You want a better sound than you have jsut now - you want tight, punchy, articulate. Poised and comfortable headphones with at least a hint of breathtaking depth and the ability to replicate a deep tight bass sound when it\'s played.

..Or Option B)
You need closed headphones for isolation. You don\'t really care how good the sound is so long as the isolation is good.

I\'ll tell you straight - for A - it\'s a total NO
These suffer from the same limitation of all the cheap closed types - they simply aren\'t sufficienltly solid or accurately made to hold the sound together. Bass and mids get lost somewhere - the stereo imaging is distant.

For B - it\'s not so bad. They keep most of the sound in, while not as good as (say DT100\'s) for this, they are adequate.

And that\'s it - they are adequate. Like almost all the cheap closed headphones - stunningly, uninspiringly adequate.

You want full sound and isolation - get a pair of KOSS sparkplugs to be honest!

For the record I\'ve tried most of Behringer\'s range. The HPS5000 feel even cheaper made than these do - however the supraaural (on ear) design is at least a better fit (if less comfortable for me) and the mids and bass is more distinct. Also I\'ve tried - and liked - the SONY MDR-XD100, 200, 300 cheap closed type range. They have a decent reproduction, with a weak bass, but come off quite airy feeling. As the numbers get higher in the range the fit of the SONY\'s improves - and so does the solidity and punch - but not as much as the price tag does!

Now - you want a tip?
You want something more like option A - you don\'t care about B
If you don\'t know or care what closed type or isolation is - you just wanted a good sound for mixing or pleasure - then look at (commonly sold as DJ type) open or semi open types. The HPX2000 from Behringer wipes the floor with these - simply for reproduction that\'s 10 times livelier - however the open design means that they bleed sound into microphones - so you can\'t use them for recording with mic\'s. They AREN\'T breathtaking - but they are a hell of a lot better than the HPS3000

You want option A - but you need option B
Audio Technica ATH-M50
Outstanding headphones. Open would be potentially even better for mixing - but these really are good - they DO make the option A \"breathtaking\" in my book.

ONE LAST THING! The Beyerdynamic DT-100 is an industry standard headphone designed for sound isolation above all else. It is \"Option B\" all the way. They sound really thin and distant - I was amazed when I finally heard them. Lets not get all wierd about it though. You just wouldn\'t use DT-100\'s as an example of good reproduction for \'critical\' listening..
Have you seen the price? Then, you should not expect a full-featured MIDI/USB 5octave master keyboard. I\'ll tell what you will be missing, then it\'s up to you to decide.

First of all the keyboard. The action is rather hard, and the return of the keys a little bit unnatural. However, if you have the technique you can adapt, though it is hard to achieve the expressivity of a real piano keyboard.
Then again, if you play piano you will probably won\'t be reading this.

Second, the flexibility. You have basically a set of eight buttons and eight rotary controls, plus a pedal, pitch and modulation wheel. And two +/- buttons that are defaulted to +/- octave shift.

You can change the control number of each of these elements, and the +/- buttons can be redirected to a (probably) more useful +/- preset change.

However (if you want to use it in a live setting) that, since you have at most 8 buttons, you can program at most 8 presets (by setting the buttons as program changes), or you can use the +/- buttons to scroll the preset list (very unpratical).

The instrument comes with a default setting which is retained after the instrument is switched off. You have a single user memory where you can store your assignements, so if you want to control a single expander (or the 2nd manual of a Hammond organ expander), and you don\'t need many presets, you are fine.

You even get a free sound to USB bidirectional stereo interface, and some CD\'s containing (probably) sampled instrument. Nothing that can compare to a Motu interface, so mine is still in the package, it is however a nice gift if you want to explore sampling and recording via the computer.

If on the other hand you need something more flexible, then you need something else, more pricey. And I would say that the UMX61 is not the lightest unit to carry along too.

		User: AJS
Rating; 9/10
I bought a Behringer ACX900 in February 2009 from the Huddersfield store, the service was very good. I had plenty of time to try out the amp before committing to the purchase.

My initial impression of the ACX900 was very good, the unit is well built and the ergonomics of all the controls are laid out in a logical easy to use manner. There are a lot of connectivity options due to the generous array of inputs and outputs.

After experimenting with various settings for about a week, I found it easy to get very good natural acoustic guitar sounds from the instrument channel. I got excellent results using my Tanglewood TW1000B with B-Band A3T pickup, this pick up works in similar way to a condenser microphone, and achieved a very natural sound across the frequency spectrum when played through the ACX900.

I also got very good results using my Yamaha 375S fitted with a Fishman AG-125 under saddle pickup connected to the ACX900 via a Fishman PRO-EQ II pre-amp.

The ACX900 offers 16 FX effects on both channels, the intensity of each effect can be controlled via a rotary control pot. Although I am mainly interested in achieving natural acoustic guitar amplification, it is nice to have the options of creating a number of interesting effect re-enforcements. I found the chorus, flanger and delay settings to be particularly effective.

As mentioned the same 16 FX effects are available on the Mic channel, the four reverb options are very good providing a good range of options. I used a Shure SM58 via the unbalanced line input. Results were good but I had to drive the channel hard at Vol 9 or 10 or the vocals were very quite. The guitar channel only needed to at Vol 3 to achieve plenty of gain. I realized that this may be because the guitars are pre-amped before passing the signal to the ACX900. I therefore decided to purchase a Behringer TUBE ULTRAGAIN MIC200 pre amp; this dramatically improved the performance, connecting the Sure SM58 to the ACX900 via the TUBE ULTRAGAIN using the balanced XLR input. I now have all the gain I need on both channels easily enough for pub and club type venues.

I also bought a Berhinger V-TONE ACOUSTIC ADI21 acoustic amp modeller stomp box, this adds extra warmth to the instrument channel giving more options to what is already a very strong acoustic performance.

To sum up I can highly recommend the ACX900, the build and sound quality are excellent and the array of features are unrivalled at the price. All and all a great 90 watt acoustic amplifier.

Unlike most Behringer pedals, this appears to be based on a Morley unit rather than a Boss, with some welcome extras. The adjustable sweep range allows you to tailor the pedal to any instrument, be it bass or standard guitar, and with adjustable Q controls and a tuneable boost built in makes it a versatlie pedal indeed. One thing to note however is it does not \"click\" on and off like a Crybaby, but is activated by moving the pedal and turns of when returned by spring to the heel position, which is something that may take a while to get used to. Built solidly, I would expect this pedal to remain in my borad for many years to come.
I dont usually leave reviews for products but I recently purchased these speakers and felt the need to express how pleased I am with them.
Ive just started to build a small home workstation for mixing and recording and wanted to get a decent pair of speakers to work with. Being a student money is tight and so I thought id take a shot at these as Ive worked with Behringer equipment before and been amazed at the quality considering the price. Im please to say these speakers are no different.
They help get a good balance between the low and high end when mixing, which I find great when doing drums. Its also worth mentioning that for their size, they have an incredible volume output.
I strongly encourage anyone looking to purchase some home monitors to take a look at these.

A word of warning if you are thinking of buying this amp to monitor a stereo monitor source, as I did.

When a stereo monitor source is connected to this device and the \'stereo/mono\' button is set to stereo, then the audio through headphones is only routed to one ear. If the \'stereo/mono\' button is set to mono then the audio is heard in both ears, but of course only in mono.

I have contacted Behringer and they say that they are aware of the problem but as yet this remains unfixed.

Also the fact that this quirk of design isn\'t mentioned in any of their documentation or in product descriptions is disapointing.

If you only want to monitor mono sources then no doubt this amp is excellent, but for stereo monitoring it doesn\'t do the job.

I got this because my mixer is a DJM500, meaning you cannot have a turntable hooked up to channel 1 as it only accepts line inputs. My DJ layout is deck, cdj, cdj, deck - so it made sense for the faders on my mixer to match up with this, rather than cdj\'s on channel 1 and 2, decks on 3 and 4. Does the job perfectly - although as it turns phono into a line input it means you will have to boost the signal around 12db to get the proper volume, but this is normal. Difficult to fault really, it\'s very robust so great if you go gigging with your own equipment! Well worth such a small amount of money.
I\'ve been using this product since it first came onto the market. It works just fine in Mackie emulation mode with my Windows XP - Sonar setup. The fader motors can be a little noisy, and having the control surface\'s emulated display on my PC screen instead of on the device itself is a bit annoying at times, but for the price I can\'t see that there\'s much to beat it.
I tend not to make too many adjustmens so most of the time it\'s running in auto.I would like to see more of a display when it comes to what filters are triggering etc in the auto setting, but I guess as long as it\'s doing the job you require it to do, this isn\'t strictly necessary.

		Hey.

Ok so i was after a midi keyboard to control plugins etc. At the time i was using reason, but now im using Native Instruments running through Protools. I had been punching in midi notes with the mouse before that but it was time to to get \"hands on\".

I knew i was restricted to a 25 key as I work on yachts and am always traveling around. I needed something i could put in a bag and take with me on the plane and train etc. I chose the umx because it is very small and it seems to have alot of features.

The day it arrived I took it out the bag and within about 20 seconds i realised that this is one hell of a crappy keyboard. It is very light, but not in a good way. It feels cheap and brittle. Playing it is awful because the keys have little movement when you press (due to it being super slim i guess) so you end up pushing really hard. The keys bend at the end if you push them. I would be embarrassed to be seen using this to be honest. In the photos they have managed to make it look quite good - its junk! It feels like its come out of a christmas cracker.

OK giving it 1 star its a bold statement, but i did this because im trying to tell people to save up another 40 and get an M-Audio Axiom 25. Thats what i did and i love it. I sent the Behringer back the next morning. It was actually the first time I have ever sent a product back to an online shop. Im not one of those people who is into buying and returning. The downside to the Axiom is that it is a fair bit bigger, but i guess thats the price to pay for a decent keyboard. It will still fit in a rucksack. Check out the Oxygen 8, I haven\'t used one but its meant to be pretty good.

If I\'m honest, every Behringer product i have ever uses or owned has been very poor. Literally just stay away from this company. i will never buy their stuff again. Im not the first person to say this. Not at all.

The only thing that the UMX has that these dont is an \"audio interface\" dont worry about this though because the one in the UMX is s_-t anyway. If your serious about music then it will not do even for a beginner.
i bought this pedal on a whim, as i\'ve been experimenting with Behringer pedals for a few years, and have become more and more confident as the years have past.
the last delay/echo i bought, the Behringer em600 echo machine, was and is the best digital/modelling delay i\'ve ever played. it takes the line 6 echo park and teaches it a lesson, basically.

the vintage time machine gives the electro harmonix deluxe memory man a shoeing, simply.

for the price, it\'s the best analogue delay i\'ve ever heard - it is so warm and full of character it makes you giggle. with the chorus and vibrato settings, you can go from a very authentic sounding slap echo, to crazy wobbly chorus delay to very accurate vibrato-driven analogue tape delay, and it is an amazing range.

the size of the unit and the knobs make it ideal for getting radiohead style noises, so you can make your guitar slow down, or speed it up so it sounds like an angry dalek. either way its cool, and you\'ll recognise the sounds that this pedal makes instantly if you like classic rock (or anything from the \'70s onwards).

i do feel i should mention is that if you use high output pickups then the circuit in the pedal will overdrive. you\'ll see that there\'s an LED on the pedal to show you if this happens... if you play a fender (or copy) and want delay, then no problems. my epiphone LP plus top that has a 13k bridge humbucker made the pedal overdrive slightly before the preamp. but then, thats what the pedal was designed to do anyway, right? :o)

so what it comes down to, is

\'should i buy this pedal?\'

do you want a clean sounding repeat pedal? go elsewhere, my friend. this is for people who enjoy experimentation and colourful tones.

do you want an analogue delay, but don\'t want to spend a ton of money? then yes. but be aware that this pedal adds more flavour than any other delay.

do you want an analogue delay that has character, and will make you start playing with the knobs wile you play? then yes.

for the price, i\'d advise you to buy two. they\'re excellent, and if a certain company get a whiff of them, then these pedals won\'t be around for long.
This mixer is perfect for any beginner DJs or for those of you that need to keep a cheap back up mixer for gigs.
It provides a fairly industry standard scratch setup: 3 channels, one can be a mic or line and 2 which are phono or line.
Plenty of outputs including main output, booth and cue channels for headphones. The cue channels are really easy to use just hit the button corresponding to the channel, whack on the headphones and turn the volume knob.
The cross fader has a really nice feel to it. It\'s exceptionally smooth and would most likely be suitable for beginner scratching however it lacks cut off adjustment.
The overall sound quality is very good for the price tag, but it\'s certainly a long way off the likes of the DDM4000 or the DJM800.

One thing I noticed with mine was that some times the level meter would not come on and I had to power off the mixer and power it back on to see the lights. This happened from turning it on and during gigs ocassionally.
I haven\'t seen this in any of the others I have encountered though so it could simply be a fault with my model.

Other than that though, top mixer for the price and I would absolutely recommend it for anyone starting out - there really is no point in buying something more expensive.
The Behringer DDM4000...what can I say...
For 260 you could probably settle for a cheaper 8 channel mixer but with this available who would want to?
The audio quality is utterly sublime with the full digital processors making hum a thing of the past, even when hooked up in a club/larger sound system. (Obviously I would still recommend a ground loop isolator when using a laptop running off AC power.)
It feels not too heavy but heavy enough to be a decent build and the knobs + faders feel securely in place.
The sampler really packs a punch and works great with the Auto BPM feature. If you\'re mixing anything commercial it\'s unlikely you will have any problems with this but manual bpm set up may be necessary for some genres especially Drum&Bass and Hardcore.
Once you\'ve got your BPM setup you can easily sample 1, 2, 4, 8 or 16 beat loops by simply choosing when to start or you can choose to manually hit start and stop defining the loop length that way. Then you can insert the sample to any channel of your choice and use the crossfader or channel faders to mix it in.
It also comes with lots of effects which you can use on any of the channels, using a max of any 2 at once. I\'ve not had a lot of time to play with these but the bit crusher is really great, easy to make some cool sounding cut outs especially coupled with the echo on the mix out.
But all of this means nothing until you touch the midi setup! This can act as a fully programmable controller for Traktor 3, Ableton Live, Reason, anything that will support midi! Whilst it doesn\'t have a USB port, it does have midi in, out and thru ports. You can pick up a USB to Midi cable or a midisport 1x1 which will hook this up to a laptop and for minimal prices. Once it\'s hooked up you will find it comes ready to use with Traktor and has presets already made. Of course over time you will probably want to change these and make your own but they are a great starting point.
You really can take this out the box, plug it in and add the presets to traktor then this is ready to go.

Personally, if you have the dispoable money this still won\'t beat the Allen & Heath Xone 3/4D but for the price tag it really does everything it needs to and more. It\'s a fully digital mixer, a midi controller and a very high quality effects box.
Like the other reviewers comments ; the worst thing about the unit are the sliders which feel rather scratchy and cheap. Otherwise the unit does exactly what it says on the tin and is top value for money. The illuminated sliders are a god send (which is the main reason why I just couldn\'t bring myself to buy a different make of unit - read on). The first unit I bought lasted just over the two year warranty period, when it suddenly started to generate an intermittent loud popping on channel 2, which seemed to be somehow linked to a problem with the 630hz (extra scratchy feeling) slider. Anyway, apart from that, I was so impressed with the unit up to that point, I bought another. Lets see how long that one lasts ! Still, at the price, it\'s virtually throw away after 2 years trouble free use. Behringer seem to have a bit of a reputation for sub standard gear but I\'ve bought a few of their products now, including a 32 channel Eurodesk and I\'ve found them all to be top rate. I\'d be really interested to hear any adverse comments about any of their kit ; e mail me on iandevans@aol.com
I think this is an incredible piece of kit.
The last time I bought a delay unit it cost me about 500 and took about 3 weeks to get right.

Within 10 min this little beauty was set up and running. Theres enough buttons for the pro to play with, but at the same time the novice could set it up without too much stress.
It gives you all the options you need. We all know nobody sets things up in the same way, and this little fella gives you all the options to set it your way.

My guys can actually stand in the speaker, if they want, the feedback killer is extremely efficient.

Highly rec, you won`t be dissapointed and especially at this price.
Had this about a week. I\\\'m not a pro, I only tinker about at home and this is ideal. It could mean that you don\\\'t need an amp for your guitar, saving money and space! My PC just has on-board sound, but a decent sub and speakers and the sound is brilliant with no lag. The software is good giving access to 3 different amp packages but only 1 can be registered the other 2 are 30 day trials but great for the money.
This pedal works hard to strike a balance between price and quality. The first thing that you notice is that it is not the pedal described on the box. The headroom available does not allow for the \"creamy blues\" advertised on the blurb. However what this pedal does deliver is massive, smooth sustained tone with abundant musical feedback. The signal is more than a little noisy, however, and this requires immediate bypassing when not in use. That said both the incredibly reasonable price tag and the particular sound you can tease out of this box, especially in conjunction with a good wah and judicious EQ, make it well worth every penny.
I played with V-amp for 1year and 8 months. Yes I did, because is not working any more. I didn\\\'t play outside my apartment, and there is no very huge humidity. Anyway inside I found rust.
Even this product is really powerfully and very cheap, but not even two years for lifetime is definitely not enough.

Totally astonishing amp for the price. At twice the price it would be remarkable - solid construction, simple but versatile EQ, bags of headroom. The bottom end is huge, as you\'d hope for with a 15\", and with the HF horn there\'s plenty of top end sparkle and bite, but what you don\'t expect is the wonderful open, articulate midrange. This is a complete waste of money. After I bought it it arrived very quickly so thanks to Dolphin for that however as soon as I plugged my decks into it the output meters on the unit went right into the red and the sound was so distorted it was rendered useless. It says in the manual if the input is to high to adjust the levels, well how exactly do you do that on a turntable? maybe if you ran it through another source first so you could adjust the input but that seems totally pointless to me and detrimental to sound quality. I wish I hadn\'t wasted my money on this junk. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I couldn\'t decide whether to go for the B-stock or not. When it arrived all of my worries were put aside. A fantastic brand new PB1000, boxed with all the cables. The PB1000 is just what I needed because until now I\'ve had a mess of pedals all over the place. Now they are housed safely and tidily when not in use and ready set up for when I want to use them. No more messing around with the cables etc. each time I want to use a pedal and no more frustration of dead batteries!! An absolute must as a piece of kit for guitarists who like their pedal effects!
I really like this thing. I\'m only a beginner when it comes to PA and studio systems, and I\'ve not found any hiss at all from the preamps, but then I tend to use good quality cables.

The physical build quality is excellent - much better than other Behringer devices I\'ve used in the past. I have only two minor gripes:

1 - As with other Behringers, there is no power switch. Why do they keep doing that? It\'s really annoying!

2 - When the power is on, there is a really, really bright blue LED on the front, and no way to switch it off. It\'s dazzling even in daylight so you have to cover it up to see the mixer, especially in the dark.

The effects are really basic, so use an alternative if you can, but they\'ll do if you have no other options or if you want to keep things simple - nice to have as a backup.
I bought the BCD from Dolphin and actually asked before I bought it whether I could bring it back if it didn\'t work my my laptop.
I had read quite a few horror stories on the internet!
To my surprise, after I followed the installation instructions, I was able to set the latency to the lowest setting and install the .tks for Traktor and voila! Superb hands off the mouse control of the DJ software.
I had a gig at a party lined up so I did a thorough test and played around with it for a few hours. I had read that the audio starts to crack up when using the built in audio interface and really didn\'t want this happening mid three hour set.
But I am happy to report that there were no issues with the test and the house party went great, the other DJ\'s were so intrigued with the controller that they used it and it was used continually for about 8 hours and did not miss a beat.
For the money you really can\'t beat one of these things and I have tested it on both an ASUS W3A and a Lenovo T61 and both worked without a hitch.
This quite honestly has to be one of the worst pedals I have EVER bought. DON\'T DO IT!!

Like the guys above said, they were being polite by saying it\'s unpredictable.

Honest to god my Grandma who is 80 and all but deaf, (on top of being tone deaf normally) would be a better gauge of whether my guitar was in tune.

If you can see past the \"on\" light, which is more a piercing blue laser beam, capable of steering lagre ships away from dangerous rocks. It actually obscures your vision of the dials, as well as impairing your sight on a more permanent basis!
The dials themselves have the sensitivity of a teenage girl who\'s heavily into her emo, and thinks life is just so unfair because Avril Lavigne tells her it is.

I do own other Behringer products and have to say they have all been great, in particular the EQ and Compressor pedals.

However they must have come up with this tuner pedal half way through they\'re annual christmas party, after a few too many beers.
Which coincidentally if you equalled would probably be the only time your guitar would even sound vaguely in tune after using this pedal.

Save your 20 hard earned notes and save up for something more reliable. I do still use mine... whenever we have a power cut and I need a light to find the fuse box.

Love Behringer but they need to look at imrpoving this one.

And Dolphin Music I have to say are ace, they look after you well and don\'t rip you off for the privilege.

I was using an Edirol UA-25, which I am pretty convinced was the cause of the hum. This was linked to an iMac by USM and two balanced XLR cables out to Yamaha MSP5\'s. The hum was evident at only 3 clicks on the volume up from 0. I read that one solution was to chase the (common) problem of the Edirol interface with the Behringer MicroHD400 hum destroyer. It works. No apparent signal loss or compromised from early tests. The powered speakers no longer make any hum, even at the highest setting.

		User: pudenfuhrer
Rating; 7/10
This is a strong and quite well made pedal. The components and layout inside also feel of a higher quality than Behringer\'s cheaper plastic pedal range. The switch stomp switch is excellent. This is more like the build of the MIC200 valve preamps - which is welcome - and justifys the cost of this item.

The equaliser is responsive, allowing a good scoop for metal, or roll offs of the top and bottom. The master volume effects the output level of the \'overdrive\' effect - in relation to the bypass. This is good if you want to use it through a near clean channel on your amp (to give a two channel feel) - but is perhaps a missed oppurtunity. I would have rather there was a gain boost giving a cleaner/ dirtier switch instead. A boost/drop pedal before the VT999 can facilitate this very easily however, and I built a passive gain dropper switch to put in front myself.

The sound is quite good. You get a decent higain preamp - suitable for grungy or chuggy metal. However this could have been achieved easily without a valve, it is also not the sound advertised to be found with the pedal.

Fortunately there\'s more in the preamp though - most of the finesse is lost because the Gain control itself has too sharp an onset and is in fuzz distortion before you ever hear an overdrive breakup. Using a gain dropper/ volume pedal etc - you can lower the input to get a very decent overdrive feel. The pedal in it\'s off the shelf state seems to like a fairly higain setting on the dial, and a low input signal - this give an edgier, hotter feel that is more like a valve amp. The noise gate is good - which is just as well as a higain on the pedal and a low input from the guitar does make for a noisier operation.

I highly recommend the use of Bitmo modifications that increase the useable range of the Gain knob - it is VERY easy to perform if you have basic soldering skills. I performed this mod and while the sound didn\'t really change - the control over it was vastly improved and the focus was brought onto the character of the edgy breakup area.

Selecting / Choosing / Picking valves / tubes for a Starved Plate design..
The next thought to upgrading this pedal is a new valve/tube - so I bet you\'d like to know what happens?

Although you CAN hear the character of different valves trademark responses - their outputs and noise levels are not as expected in this circuit.

Basically I found that an ecc81 or 82 gave more distortion - not less - lowering headroom.
Shorter plate designs seemed to give lower, weaker outputs and the JJ ecc83s was very quiet and also rather noisy.
The NOS valves didn\'t magically light it up as they couldn\'t seem to get going - so don\'t waste money there - just for research I tried a Mullard 83, an RFT 83 (both short/mid length ladder plate) and a 12AX7WA Philips JAN (which was pretty good actually with the longer plates).
Chinese highgain (which the Behringer tube is) came in strong with a smoother, bright and less crumbly \'overdrive\' sound - however this then faded after a few seconds (as the valve self biased presumably) - then they were weak and quiet which was a surprise.

The best by a mile was the Sovtek 12AX7 LPS - with the big long plates - this gave 10db more than all the other valves I tried and seemed to be a much stronger signal to noise, smoother sound.

To me it would appear that there are only certain valves that will actually work in these low voltage circuits - I\'m happy to report that the Sovtek LPS is one of them and it is a great valve. In this circuit I think it keeps the character I\'ve heard it have in amps. You do need to boost the treble a bit though for a biting chuggy overdrive/distortion - but that\'s what the EQ is for.

Lastly - the differences between the sound of different valves/tubes is subtle - in this case it\'s finding valves that WORK properly that is important!

With the modifications this is a great preamp - but it can\'t quite ever manage that power tube bite and character all on it\'s own. Nontheless, with a bit of tweaking it makes some very useable sounds as part of a larger rig.
What a fantastic product i bought this for our local youth choir because of the price and the name and this mic accentuates the choir a lot better than than hanging Mics that we have used in the pastas hanging mics are above the head the kids tended to sing towards the ceiling so their voices were not projecting the right way but with these mics they can be placed in front so that the mic actually pics up their voices. and for a cracking inexpensive price
I bought these for my school with the two Behringer subs and an Ultradrive Pro controller. I didn\'t really have high hopes as to what they were going to sound like because i\'d seen the price, but I have been so surprised!!! They have an incredible clean sound and reproduce all frequencies beautifully. Obviously I\'m not saying they\'re the best speakers around, but for the money - makes an impressive sound and beats anything else that\'s even vaguely close on the market.
Next to my Boss pedals this guy looks and feels like the artsy weakling in the playground. But some vocal ability he certainly has. Strat, Tube screamer, Wah, Valve jnr head\'n\'cab and VP1\'s rate set at very low (tone in down pos)and dare I say the lad even starts to sound like head boys Jimi and Stevie Ray. 26!! - you\'d be mental not to.
