The first time i plugged into my amp with these new cables i could notice a difference in clarity and much higher pronounced sustain. It seems my old cables were not up to the standard of tranferring the legendary screamimg tone of the les paul to the amp. already impressed with the sound improvement these cables gave i decided to give it 2 months. In the end i realised that the cables were going to continue to work at a 100% for a while. The angled jack is especially useful for attaching the jack snugly against the guitar wthout having to bend the cable (which will end up breaking it). I only gave this 9 because i can imagine an improvement being made with the connection material. if it was gold plated then it would have got a ten. Overall a brilliant cable that continues to be practical in any situation be it live or studio.

I had this cable for a few weeks and it was ok but now both the jacks only work when in certain positons. It works but cuts out quite alot. Not worth the cost tbh

Most of my cables for both studio and live work tend to be custom made or a well known brand name. This time I wanted a cable to go between my DI box and amplifier - my dog chewed the old one! I thought I would try Dolphin's own brand lead this time. The jacks are not quite the same quality as I am used to, but they are robust and well made. The lead seems to be of good quality and I have to admit that against another lead I have that cost several times the amount, the end result is the tonal quality is no different. No nasty noises - just a business like lead that does the job.
