Great System, very portable, easy to set up and very stable in use. I have used this as part of a PA sound reinforcement system routing the mix through it. Once set up it does not move - . Storage spaces are so valuable - take it out and know you have everything you need in the little boxes. ONe comment is that the system is great for a noisy environment but the fan and speakers are more noisy in the background than I would want in a quiet situation.

The unit feels a little fragile - the handles in particular - but it seems to be standing up to punishment well. Sound is great, with good dispertion and the ability to tweak the EQ means it can cope well with most environments. I wouldn\'t though recommend using this at very low volumes as it can get a bit noisy. Overall really can\'t complain for the price. A great buy!

These are excellent speakers and very good value for money IMHO. They weight virtually nothing so very easy to carry about (they weight less than our previous passive speakers)as no problem to carry both at once. The sound quality for our band of two guitars, bass, keyboards and five(!) singers is great. The bass guitar really kicks out. More than enough volume with the control set at the 12 o\'clock position for the venues we play at. Not used the EQ knobs yet as they sound great set flat.

An excellent bargin from the boys at Mackie, Works perfectly as a single monitor for small band practices, perfect for live sound as a foldback or speaker, and outstanding performance for DJ use. Amazing bass response and excellent built in EQ. Sweepable mids is an added bonus, and the crossovers work perfectly to acheive a brilliant sound quality. An affordable product with outstanding performance and a lightweight build. Perfect for any situation.

I have had a pair of these speakers for several years now and can truly say they are among the best speakers I have used and owned. I use them for everything from foldback, main PA for bands and solo artists to playback of music for aerial ballet at kite festival. They sound amazing and many artists comment on the clarity and volume that they produce. Sound quality is exceptional considering the low cost of these speakers. They are tough and truely road worthy. they have survived a drop of six feet onto a hard floor with minimal cosmetic damage and no detrimental effect to the sound or reliability. When partnered with the sub15s these little gems shake the room. So much so that during one outdoor gig the police arrived to politely ask us to turn it down as the pub next door were complaining because their artist using a \"no highs no lows they must be ....\" rig was being drown out. They have survived rain, hail, snow and very rarely sun at outdoor venues during the summer. These speakers work extremely well when run from a cheap petrol generator with no extra noise or distortion. Also they are the only speakers that I haven\'t managed to blow the tweeters on. My only gripe is they can be a little hissy when there is no signal being fed into them. This is only noticable at close range.

I have been a musician for as long as I can remember . My main instrument is keyboard and I presently use a Yamaha Tyros . I have been searching for a couple of years to find the ideal portable PA system which will deliver true quality sound and enhance live performances .The eon 15's do it all .The low end is superb with the upper frequencies chrystal clear . No longer am I worried about getting a distorted sound when pushing the system . It copes with it all . Most times when I buy a product the end result is that its o.k . Not this time the eon 15's goes beyong o.k in fact they go beyond superb .I compare these speakers to a top of the range spots car . sleek , good looking and plenty of power under the bonnet just when you need it .
