I purchased this effect unit as I thought the controls were very easy adjustable for use in a live sound setup. Most effect units have deep menu\'s combined with small displays. This unit has all functions on separate buttons and lots of LEDs to tell its active status and so is perfect fore a live sound setup. After using it for about one year I can say I\'m very happy with my choice as I love the direct control I have over it. My biggest complaint about this unit is its use of an AC adapter, for this money it should have a built in powersupply and not one of these crappy adapters. As this is my only mentionable complaint I believe this unit to be very good and would recommend it without a doubt.

On the couple of occasions I\'ve been able to use the FEX800 I\'ve been pretty impressed with what it can do - my main interest is in ambient music and as such things like reverb, chorus etc. are handy to have. Some of the effects seem to muffle the bass frequencies a bit, but that\'s nothing a bit of EQ won\'t fix. Unfortunately, the unit I bought developed a fault on the power input jack - unfortunate, since I\'ve had no problems with Behringer kit in the past. Even so, if you\'re short of space and/or money, this is a good, functional piece of kit which is far smaller, and less expensive, than a row of stomp-boxes!

Bought this and love it, it is so straight forward to use and is really nicely made, the switches all feel really robust. You can use this set at anything from subtle to full bore, subtle gives you that \"Glee Club\" edge and full bore can make you sound as if you have Barry White on backing vocals. I downloaded pitch correct and that seems to work pretty well too. It is most effective when you have the guitar plugged in, it seemed to correct pitch and add harmonies that sound better in this mode. (Presumably because it can read the key from the guitar.) When used without the second input it is still good but it can pull your singing the wrong way if you are as duff as I am. The way the two footswitches work mean you can program effects and switch them on the fly really fast, you can also bypass the box very quickly when you are trying to speak. By this I mean you can knock off that reverb, which I hasten to add also sounds really nice, and the harmonies to create that dry sound. It leaves the gate turned on and the tone control so your vocal still sounds good in spoken mode and you can still have the gain pushed up. Brilliant piece of kit, I like the reverb so much I might even hook it up to my mixer rather than use my Yamaha! BTW I only awarded it 8 because it needs an external power supply... I hate wall warts!

Looking back at the KP-1, I think it\'s a brilliant achievement on Korg\'s behalf to have produced such a great franchise based on the single, original X/Y pad. The KP-3 is even better than its predecessors as a high-end effects processor, with a much better sampling capability (in my opinion), and of course the long-standing MIDI control! One thing that stopped this product from getting the full 10 was the even more advanced complexity of the product, somewhat of a double edged sword. I world recommend this to any pro DJ!

I bought this unit recently from here at Dolphin to intergrate with my other outboard units in my home studio set up, which mainly consists of synthesizers and a couple of microphones. As many musicians might throw caution to the wind when they hear the name Behringer, I must strongly disagree. The first thing that caught my eye about this little box was its solid construction and sleek appearence. This was then confirmed when I plugged it in to my Focusrite Saffire Pro 10 card. The quality of the effects were very high for such a budget unit. Running either a synthesizer or a microphone produced great and satisfying results. Superb delays and great psycho acoustics and thats not including special effects and decent reverb. This unit makes you wonder why you ever bothered using software, because for the fraction of the price of paying for a vst licence, you can get a world of strange and wonderful sounds from the Virtualizer Pro. All in great quality and in 24 bit to! Dolphin don\'t just sell anything, they sell quality and the Virtualizer Pro just proves that...

Fantastic unit for the price - I have had a few behringer FX units and this blows them all away. Very easy to use, and also comes with a massive range of presets, as well as the ability to store 100 users presets. It has a Midi connection which increases its flexibility, and can also be controlled with a footswitch for on/off settings. (Great for a guitarist like me who use it for delays and reverbs!) The best feature of this unit is, i think, its wide range of different reverbs, and its delays. For under 80 this unit is a must have. If you need a low cost high performance unit then this is the one to go for!

I connected the unit through the FX Loop of my B52 head, and the first things I found was a killer noise gate that all alone makes this thing worth every penny! And the best part, it didn't cost me that many pennies in the first place. The reverbs are authentic. The delays are clean, the chorus is beautiful, and the special effects are out of this world. And, that was just the first day. I can't wait to get this bad boy on stage and see what it can do! This is a great addition to any rack!

This peice of kit is worth every penny, and it isnt realy that many penny\'s. I bought this for some better delay and reverb functions on my studio outboard, but what i found on this thing was much better than just delay. In my studio its what i call the problem solver, because i always end up using this rack when there is a problem. When ever there could be an improvement in sound, or adding something better, there is always something in this thing that you need. The reverb (and there are lots) sound great on whatever u want to use it on, and all the settings are VERY FLEXIBLE, you can change almost every imaginable parameter. I was recording just recently and ended up with lots of hissing due to high gain levels, this thing sorted it right out with its de-noiser. All in all, a Very useful tool, for hardly anything price wise A great peice of kit for every situation
