Numark TT500 Reviews
Deciding on what to buy when starting out dj'ing, can be a tricky decision. Wether to spend a small amount of money and get basic equipment, or spend a substantial amount of money and get great equipment that will last you along time. The TT500's price tag may throw you off as if you look towards the legendary technics at over £300 per turntable. But i assure you, buying the TT500s is no comprimise in quality.
All of the features have been clevery designed and thought out, from the beasty 5.0kg of tourque, which beats any technics hands down, to the sleek design that suits both the long mix and battle positions. The TT500s are so strongly built, and you can feel that when using them with no fear that you might break something or have to handle them with such great care.
Not only do they look good though, they also provide the base that allows you to seamlessly mix and concentrate on the job at hand, without having to worry about the TT500s not holding the mix.
If you are thinking of getting the TT200s, then i highly recommend spending that little bit extra and get these, trust me, you will thank yourself in the long run. If you are thinking about spending a fortune on technics, then you should seriously have a go on these before doing so. I cannot fault these decks in any way, and would not change anything about them.
This is the turntable you need. You will never regret buying these decks, in my opinion they should be the future industry standard turntable.
The miniute the Numark tt500 was pluged in and spinning was the miniute i realised they are a very good well built record deck, many people go for the technics 1210 and 1200 like myself i have a technics 1210mk2 and a numark tt500 and in all honesty the numark tt500 is far better the the technics 1210 startup and stop speed is much more responcive, the variable brack and startup speed on the numark is great and i do use it , dont get me wrong ,the technics 1210 is a great record deck, but times are changing and DJ's are doing much more things,so it wouldnt hurt if technics started to make there 1210 series deck a little bit more technical!
