IK Multimedia have been producing music software products since 1996 and are directly operating in Italy, Japan, the US and UK. Taking advantage of the progressive market of personal computing and mobile gadgets, IK Multimedia aimed to revolutionise the way in which we create and play music.
One of the company’s more recent releases is the AmpliTube iRig, which was developed with one of IK’s referenced partners, Apple. Created using specially designed music software, the iRig enables its user to simply plug a guitar into an iPhone//iPod Touch/iPad and basically have a jam session, anytime, anywhere with a selection of guitar and bass tones. IK Multimedia are creating items that are simply “made” for musicians, those of us who eat, sleep and breathe music, making it easy for us to do what we love, whenever we hear the call.
Producer, songwriter and guitarist Geo Slam has worked with the likes of Lady Gaga, Enrique Iglesias and U2, alongside the Grammy-winning production team Red One, that brought us hits like Gaga’s ‘Poker Face’ and Akon’s ‘Against the Grain’.
The Red One “sound” is currently dominating the charts from artists like Pixie Lott and Sean Kingston and the recent release of Jason Derulo’s ‘Fight for You’ was produced by the Red One team, who handled backing vocals, instrumentation, programming and the track also features Geo Slam on guitar.
