In 1972 Allen & Heath built a custom quadrophonic mixer called the Mod 1, This mixer went on to be associated with a lot of Pink Floyds live concerts throughout '72. The console can be seen in their film “Live in Pompe!!”
Pink Floyd continued to work with Allen & Heath when the company hand built a second quad board mixer which was used for the 1974 Winter Tour.
