Fender Hello Kitty Songwriters Journal Now Playing!
The Fender Hello Kitty® site now has a way-cool songwriting “Journal” section designed to introduce girls of all ages to the fantastic world of songwriting!
You’ll find articles on and interviews with some famous female artists—both well established and up-and-coming—in which they speak with great authority, insight and humor on the many different facets of the songwriting process. Where does inspiration come from? How on earth do you even get started? Do you have to be good at it right from the start? What makes a hit a hit? Do you use craft, instinct, or both?
Right now, you can read enlightening, entertaining and often hilarious answers to these and many other questions from Journal host and hit songwriter Lisa Loeb (who’s inspired by drinking coffee, among other things), Go-Go’s guitar goddess Jane Wiedlin (who once co-wrote a country hit for Keith Urban), Muffs leader Kim Shattuck (who calls the first song she ever wrote “completely embarrassing”) and So-Cal rock/folk group Raining Jane (who seem to be on the road pretty much continuously). You can even e-mail in your own tale of musical inspiration …
Join all these artists, plus Fender and Hello Kitty® herself at the new Songwriters Journal page! Just click here …
