Ten of Australia’s leading DJ’s have joined the exclusive worldwide network of Allen & Heath Xone endorsed artists. The arrangement means that local talent is being fully recognised on an international basis and joining an elite group that includes the likes of Sander Kleinenberg, Richie Hawtin and John Digweed.

The Xone Ten (in alphabetical order are): Ajax, Mark Dynamix, Nik Fish, Carl Kennedy, Kid Kenobi, Kenny L, Amber Savage, Sneaky Sound System, Dirty South and The Stafford Brothers.

A key part of the sponsorship will include a series of Allen & Heath master classes where the Xone Ten will be on hand to demonstrate the full capacity of Allen & Heath mixers and outline the key features of their performances to the next generation of DJ’s.

With their superb filters, premium quality construction and peerless audio signal path, Xone has quickly become the mixer of choice not only for the Xone Ten but numerous other of Australia’s top DJ’s as well as clubs, radio stations and festivals.

The Allen & Heath Xone endorsement means that whenever you see one of the Xone Ten they’ll be using an Allen & Heath Xone DJ mixer.

Commenting on the endorsement programme Jamie Kaye, Allen & Heath’s Xone ambassador for Australia and a noted DJ himself said:

“It’s been a tremendous buzz getting these guys into the Allen & Heath camp. Because Allen & Heath are at the top of their game many of these guys were already using Xones. It’s a credit to the product that every one of these elite artists was only too keen to sign with us.”

Australia’s Xone Ten: Kid Kenobi, Nik Fish, Carl Kennedy, Mark Dynamix, Dirty South, Kenny L, The Stafford Brothers, Amber Savage, Sneaky Sound System, and Ajax

Nik Fish: “I've been using Allen & Heath DJ mixers for years now. I mix all my CD compilations on them and in the clubs my choice is either the Xone:62 or the newer Xone:92 (for added grunt). But at home I choose the Xone:32 - it packs as much punch as its bigger brothers but takes up far less room. Either way, if I get to your club and it's not a Xone, I ain't playing on your system!”

Mark Dynamix: “The most important aspect of a good party, aside from rockin' tunes, is a clean sounding system and there are few DJ mixers that have the frequency response of the Xone:92. The result is a solid bottom end, warm mid range and crisp treble and best of all I have the ability to filter the fuck out of it all with the onboard effects!”

Carl Kennedy: “All the Xone range are superb quality audio tools but for me Xone:92 is the money ball. As well as incorporating all the elements of the club standard Xone:62 it also gives me MIDI control of outboard devices and that’s a huge part of bringing originality and creativity to my sets.”

Dirty South: “It’s a huge buzz to be part of the Xone network alongside such greats as Sander Kleinenberg and John Digweed. It’s an ideal arrangement. Xone has become so popular among top acts because these mixers deliver the headroom, the facilities and the superb audio that is critically important to a performance. The quality of Allen & Heath mixers is no secret so it’s great to know that wherever I perform I’ll be using Xone – it takes one less variable out of the event.’
