Apple Choose's Dolphin

Apple aims to grow into the Audio market where the Mac demonstrates a recognized competitive advantage. With these goals in mind, Apple is selecting market specialists who have a recognized competence to address the Audio market and appointing them as Apple Solution Experts – Audio (“ASE – Audio”). ASE – Audio members are typically geared to provide:

  • Turnkey solutions, built around Apple hardware, meeting the most demanding requirements from Audio customers. They act as system integrators and select the appropriate components from Apple and recognized vendors to address specific requirements in this market,
  • Professional services beyond the solution itself such as training, phone support, system upgrading and maintenance throughout the system lifecycle. They are ideal partners in mission critical situations where the system uptime is key,
  • System wide responsibility over the complete solution including Apple hardware and software but also peripherals, accessories and third party software.

What is the Apple Solution Experts program about?

Apple Solution Experts  (ASE) are qualified resellers, consultants, and trainers specializing in complete, customized solutions based on Apple hardware and software.

Apple has engineered this program to promote existing resellers with solution-specific expertise and recruit new partners with recognized experience in providing customers with value-added services on Apple based solutions and technologies.

Apple is initially focussing recruitment to a limited set of segments: video, design and print, and education. Recruitment in other segments in which Apple operates (i.e., web publishing, digital imaging, music and audio, science and technology, architecture) will follow shortly.

Why is Apple going to such great lengths?

In order to bring its innovative products and solutions to a wider group of professional users and provide an exemplary customer experience, Apple is forging new partnerships with experts well positioned in the Company’s primary market segments.

What can customers expect from this program?

A key strategic initiative for Apple is to provide customers with an outstanding experience prior to purchase, at purchase and throughout the product life cycle. This program is a huge step in that direction.

Potential customers who work with ASEs enjoy expert pre-sales advice on relevant Apple-based solutions that can be customized to fit their needs.  Other “Beyond the Box” offers, such as Apple Financial Services and the AppleCare Protection Plan are also available.  And ASE must be prepared to provide customers with a leasing option and other financial services.

Convenience is another customer benefit, with one-stop shopping for purchase, installation, and configuration of solutions from Apple and its multiple partners.

Finally, the user experience will be greatly enhanced thanks to post-sales training opportunities and expert support on the complete solution.

What Benefit will Dolphin's Customers gain from this Partnership?

Due to Dolphin working a lot closer with Apple our customers can expect a great level of service in regards to Apple product. We should be able to relay Apple information quicker, offer better deals and more customised Apple solutions. We are also taking on more Apple training for our staff so they can offer first class advice on all of Apple's products and services.
