Eastcoast Guitars - Fantastic Value, Great Quality and IN STOCK!

Published: Thu November 27, 2014  News Feed

This Christmas, many customers here at Dolphin Music are looking for products that represent great value-for-money, and Eastcoast is one of the best examples: their range of acoustic guitars are very affordable and are perfect for beginners and musicians on a budget. And the best news is: they look and sound great, too!

Eastcoast Acoustic Guitars

Here's a look at some of the best Eastcoast models and deals, which would make perfect Christmas gifts for musicians, children and beginners this year.

We'll start with the Eastcoast Mini Auditorium Guitar Starter Pack, which includes an Eastcoast Lis-a Mini Auditorium Guitar. This bundle is the perfect starting point for budding guitarists who'd like to follow on the footsteps of singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, who also favours smaller-sized acoustic guitars. The bundle includes gigbag, strap, strings and tuners - everything you need to start playing! For the money, you won't find a better deal than this:

The guitar itself looks lovely, with a very nice gloss finish. It's also perfect for beginners, due to its low action and nice grip on the classic "C-shape" neck, which make the guitar very playable. It has mahogany back and sides. The neck is also mahogany. By the photos below you can see how well-crafted this Eastcoast acoustic guitar is (click to enlarge):

A cheaper option, but which also won't disappoint, is the Eastcoast SA30A Acoustic guitar in Natural Finish. This is a simple, very nice guitar, with catalpa back & sides. Catalpa is a tree native from America, and has acoustic properties similar to spruce, one of the most popular woods used for acoustic guitars. Catalpa is a light, soft and very resonant wood, which gives this guitar a very pleasant tone, and it does feel a bit lighter than most acoustic guitars.

At only £65*, this is an ideal guitar for beginners, or for the casual guitarist who just wants to strum an acoustic from time to time, without investing too much money.

If you're not a fan of natural finish, then perhaps you could try an Eastcoast Dreadnought in Brownburst, which is just a little more expensive at £69*. Like the above SA30A model, this guitar also features catalpa back & sides. Both guitars therefore share the same acoustic properties, though the dreadnought is able to project the sound a bit better, due to it's "dreadnought" design - this is the most popular shape for acoustic guitars.

Perhaps the beginner guitarist won't notice the (subtle) differences between these shapes and types of wood, so if you're in doubt about wich model to choose, here's how they all compare:

BEST SOUNDING GUITAR: Eastcoast Lis-a Mini Auditorium Guitar or get the Eastcoast Mini Auditorium Guitar Starter Pack for even better value.
BEST ALL-ROUNDER: go for the Eastcoast Dreadnought in Brownburst as it is great value and has the popular Dreadnought acoustic guitar shape, the same as teh acoustic guitars played by many of the most popular artists ever.
BEST FOR ED SHEERAN FANS: well, since he's so popular and still inspiring many young peopel to pick up an acoustic, we had to factor his influence! If you're a fan, you simply can't go wrong with an Eastcoast Lis-a Mini Auditorium Guitar
BEST FOR YOUNGER PLAYERS / BUDGET GUITARISTS:
the cheap, light and pleasant Eastcoast SA30A Acoustic guitar in Natural Finish is ideal as a first guitar for any young player, or if you just want something cheap to play occasionaly.
