EZdrummer 2 announced by Toontrack
Toontrack announce EZdrummer 2by Danny Edwards
Toontrack have announced the release of EZdrummer 2 - and they are telling us it's a "game changer".
EZdrummer 2 boasts huge improvements over the original, with a big focus on the new powerful audio engine and revamped interface that make this step up from the original to EZ drummer 2 extremely worthwhile.
"This is not just an update or a new digit added to the logo, it’s a completely new program, overhauled down to the tiniest detail”, said Peter Knutsson, Toontrack’s CEO. “The release of EZdrummer 2 will not only be a milestone in the history of our company, it will be the day we add a new meaning to what the music industry commonly refers to as a ‘drum sampler’.”
Other new features include revolutionary songwriting features, a new mixer, user friendly effects chains, two massive sound libraries with a huge selection of percussive instruments and improved loading times. One big feature is the enhanced flexibility with the ability to use separate elements from the EZX libraries, which EZdrummer veterans have found limiting in the past.
