Avid wins at the 2014 Grammy Awards
Amongst the list of Avid users was Album of the Year winners, Daft Punk with their album Random Access Memories, and Record of the Year Get Lucky, whilst Song of the Year 'Royals' by Joel Little and Lorde was also an award winning Avid production.
Other Grammy Award-winning projects by artists, producers and engineers who use Avid solutions in their studios include Imagine Dragons’ Radioactive (Best Rock Performance), Bruno Mars’ Unorthodox Jukebox (Best Pop Vocal Album), and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ The Heist (Best Rap Album).
Grammy Award nominee Ariel Rechtshaid spoke about his nomination for Producer of the Year
“The GRAMMY nomination for Producer of the Year is an honor,” he said. “I share it with all the artists I’ve been fortunate enough to make music with. We’ve always strived to make music that sounds unlike anything out there and it’s fantastic to be recognized by The Recording Academy. We couldn’t have done it without Avid Pro Tools".
Ariel Rechtshaid has produced records spanning indie/alternative, hip-hop, reggae and R&B. His 2013 releases include Best Alternative Music Album, Vampire Weekend’s Modern Vampires of the City, as well as Haim’sDays Are Gone, Snoop Lion’s Reincarnated, and Sky Ferreira’s Night Time, My Time.
