Lianne La Havas Guitar Gear

By Hugh McKenna

We've strapped on our Geargoggles to take a little look at Lianne La Havas' rig from a recent special gig at Rampworx Skatepark in Liverpool. Thanks to Bido Lito and Jack Thompson for the pics.

Looking closely at the pedal board we can see quite a bit of Boss.

Lianne Le Havas Pedal Board

Looks distinctly like a TU-3 tuner running into a LS-2 Line Selector which then selects between:
Mid-scooped GE-7 EQ into an Electro Harmonix Holy Grail Nano.
Mid-Pushed GE-7 into a Boss CS-3 Compressor

Speaking to Guitar World Lianne revealed that she never travels without her 1964 Danelectro guitar. For back line it's either a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe with the band or a Roland Micro Cube.
On stage, normally, I have a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe when I play my gigs with the band. But when I’m playing just solo, I’ll normally go through the DI and I’ve got a SansAmp, which I think the sound comes out really nice. That’s what I recorded, actually, for the guitar on the album. It’s mostly through a SansAmp. Or I have a portable Roland Cube Amp, which is like a practice amp, so I take that around with me as well.
On keys it looks like a Nord Stage 2, perhaps the SW73 model.
