Yamaha APX Acoustics - Rocking For Over 25 Years

Including the world's best selling electro acoustic guitar, the 500 series, Yamaha's APX line is a veritable institution among guitarists looking for great sound and all the features you need to make your life easier getting to and playing the gig. With slim profile, feedback management, on-board tuner and newly developed piezo pickup the 500II is a complete package, also a low battery indicator and using AA batteries means you should never be caught out needing power for your preamp. Yamaha never stop with their R&D and striving to make the APX the best electro acoustics they can be. Don't just take our word for it though, Yamaha acoustics are used by some of the biggest names in the business...

Antonio Forcione

Dubbed the Jimi Hendrix of acoustic guitar Antonio has formidable chops on classical acoustic guitar. If you're looking to follow in the footsteps of this man (it might be a long walk mind you) then the C40 Starter Pack is a great choice, once you know your rasgueado then the NCX700 would be an excellent progression. Yamaha doesn't dissapoint at the high end either.

Check out his staggering performance here, uses one guitar and there's two pairs of hands!

Some More Yamaha Acoustics In Action

Joe Bonamassa

Our Joe has gone from strength to strength over the past ten years. From renowned guitarist to gifted songwriter and currently sell out shows in the Royal Albert Hall. Seen here with a discontinued LJX36C, you can grab a superb cutaway electro-acoustic with Spruce/Rosewood with the AC3R.

Bert Jansch

If Antonio Forcione is the acoustic Hendrix then Jansch may well have been the acoustic Clapton. Sadly missed and a huge influence on a whole generation of guitarists. There appears to be an LL6 pictured, a favourite with many folkies.

Jimmy Page

Speaking of those influenced by Bert Jansch here's one of his biggest fans. Best known for his electric antics in recent years Jimmy has mellowed a bit. Here he is with a CJ32, discontinued but check out the FJX730SC for a classic black acoustic.
