Peavey Xport USB Guitar Interface
We love the Peavey Xport because it has a two big advantages, the first is you plug a guitar cable into it instead of plugging it directly into the guitar, which saves wear and tear on the interface itself, since your guitar cables are prone to banging around. Second, it has both a headphone jack and a line out. That means you can either set your software to feed your guitar's sound to a set of headphones, or you can feed it out to another stereo or an amp. So if you like to play along with songs on your computer, you can have the music coming out of your regular speakers and the guitar's sound coming out of another set of speakers. Boooooom!!!
The Xport's high-quality ASIO and Core Audio drivers offer rock-solid performance for both Windows and Mac OS X. It is powered by the USB bus and featuring both Headphone and Line outputs, the Xport provides musicians with a simple digital recording solution. Included with Xport is Peavey ReValver HPse amp modeling software. This state-of-the-art software can be used as a stand-alone virtual amplifier or with your favorite recording software. Also included in th box is the REAPER Digital Audio Workstation software, an advanced multi-track audio production and recording environment for Windows and OS X so you guys can get recording right out of the box.
