Get Turbonegro's deathpunk sound with Orange amps
Orange amplifiers have always been renowned for their versatility, from Arctic Monkeys' warm British garage tone to the sheer hard-rock power of Slipknot's signature amps. They're so versatile, in fact, that they're used by a band who've created their own genre: deathpunk.
Combining glam, punk and classic rock, Turbonegro have a list of influences that shows Orange heads, cabs and combos are suited to any guitarist, whatever they're into. Their sound takes cues from Black Flag, Rolling Stones, Kiss, Iggy Pop, David Bowie and The Ramones. Lead guitarist Euroboy's explanation of the band's name says it all: "It's actually two Latin words, it means fast and black and we thought that was a cool name for a band. Because our music is very fast and very dark".
