Pre-order Blackstar's first signature amp and more from Summer NAMM 2012

Innovative British amp manufacturer Blackstar have had some of the event's most high-profile launches. Back in March we wrote about the then-new ID series, which had just been launched at Musikmesse in Berlin, and now they've added two smaller combos to the range, with all the same functionality, just more portability. They've also launched their first ever signature amp, a head that's custom made for metal in association with Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Gus G.

Clean and crunch channels are nothing new for amps with the Blackstar rock pedigree, but the Blackfire goes even further, offering Fire and Fury overdrive channels created in consultation with Gus G himself. A devastating full metal assault. It's got an awesome metal look too: a brushed aluminium front panel complete with an 'Evil G' logo and a cast metal Blackstar logo, plus great Gus G accessories which include a signed certificate, an 'Evil G' key ring, trading card, pick, dust cover and a CD from Gus' band Firewind . Register to get notified as soon as it's available, with no commitment to buy. |
