Roland's all new GA-112 & GA-212 Stage Amps at Musikmesse 2012
Roland GA-112 & GA-212 Guitar Amplifiers
High-Impact Stage Amps with New Tone and Unique FeaturesRoland famous for its CUBE Amplifiers has now started a new range of guitar amps. Their High-Impact Stage Amps offer the user new tones and unique features. The new range which currently consists of 2 models so far-we’re sure it will be expanded upon in the future- the Roland GA-112 and the Roland GA-212. These amps are custom built, tough and designed for stage use but this is only Roland’s suggestion and we are confident they would stand up to the rigours of touring and recording.
They contain the latest COSM amp modelling onboard – Progressive Amp – giving the user sound creation, intuitive controls and greater expression and playability than anything we’ve seen from Roland before. By turning the DRIVE knob and pushing the BOOST button the user is opened up to a world of new amp sounds from clean to extreme and everything in between. The “limited” control panel on the front is there for a reason by Roland’s own admission. It allows the user to dial in their tone quickly and efficiently when it matters using the 2 volume controls, 3 tone controls, presence and finally reverb. Too many knobs and buttons become increasingly confusing so Roland has made it more streamlined by doing so, harking back to a vintage amp design. The GA-112 houses a single 12” speaker at 100W; giving the user all the power they need for rehearsing and for small to midsized gigs. Whereas the GA-212 offers up a pair of 12” speakers at 200W giving you the ultimate power amp.
Roland says “GA-series amps are the brainchild of Roland and BOSS R&D, a world-leading force in cutting-edge sound. These amps feature the latest advancements in tone tech, yet they provide simplistic operation with signature styling. Turn heads with these attractive, road-tough amps that look as cool as they sound”
