Fender Squier Mikey Way Signature Mustang Bass Guitar - IN STOCK!
Mikey Way Mustang Bass
~ NOW IN STOCK ~
Fender have unleashed yet another signature guitar this year, but unlike many of the signatures they’ve released so far for 2012, this newbie is a bass guitar.
Designed with the input of the nimble My Chemical Romance bassist, Mikey Way, this signature model takes the classic Fender Mustang Bass to new heights. Featuring an all-new amped up design, the dazzling large flack silver sparkle finish and black racing stripes, to really set it off. Fender have scrapped the split coil pickup and replaced it with one single high output humbucker for this Mikey Way Mustang Bass.
In addition to adopting the original Mustang’s shorter scale design, the Mikey Way Signature features the asymmetric waist of the Jaguar and Jazzmaster but incorporates a smaller, slimmer figure and undoubtedly one of Fenders most distinctive signature models. Fender have added Mikey Way's signature on the back of the guitar's C shaped, maple, 'black on the front' headstock.
Crafted in Indonesia with a basswood body, rosewood fretboard, vintage style tuners and single tone and volume controls, the Mikey Way Mustang Bass produces a thunderous tone despite its smaller 30” scale length. Featuring a string-through-body bridge and 4 individually adjustable saddle, 3 ply black-white-black pickguard and gloss polyester finish.
From its features alone you can see that this Mikey Way Signature Bass means business.
