It might not seen like a big issue for some, but finding the guitar of your dreams and it not being available “on your side”, well, that’s just not fair. The SG arrived in 1961 and has been one of the most admired and respected guitars that the world has known. The SGs originally featured humbucking pickups, but over the years many players have grown to love the hot, raw sound of the P-90 (used in the SG Special and Junior models). Giving you a hybrid of features, the appointments of the standard model with addition of P-90s, this SG Standard with authentic P-90s is equipped to take you into raw and rugged sonic territory.

This SG Standard features a body crafted from solid mahogany, which makes this SG light and resonant with a rich, clear tone.

The body is finished in a hand-sprayed, high gloss nitrocellulose lacquer and is available in two colours, the timeless Ebony and the classic Heritage Cherry. Other classic features include the iconic, a-symmetrical “double-horned” deep cutaways, SG rounded profile neck, 5 ply late ‘60s style scratchplate and vintage style tuners.

This SG features a tone anchor in the form a zamak tune-o-matic bridge coupled with a stopbar tailpiece.

With chrome plated TonePros keystone vintage-style tuners, and a baked maple fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, a 12” radius, vintage cream binding and katalox and figured acrylic trapezoid inlays.
